Close to the coast. A great restaurant downstairs as well as within walking distance.
Our unit on the top front corner looked straight at the TAB sign which was lit up like a beacon all night and the curtains needed a bit of repair to block out the light
Comfy
Nothing
Great location, great view from the room. Great to be able to soak in the bath and see the ocean.
Everything was good, the door handle of the room was a little loose. The front door was still closed at 7am so we had to keep walking around the back which was a bit more inconvenient in the rain.
Now stayed 3 times. Great spot, old fashion comfort..
All good
- Good location; plenty of restaurants/shops around the area, opposite of the beach
- Comfortable pillows
- Spacious room with a smart TV and a split system
- Old but generally clean, except the bath towel.
- Unclear check in process and parking area. The check in counter is located inside the POKIES next to the hotel. The car park is BEHIND the hotel. Follow Google map directions, drive into the bottle shop driveway, proceed further and you will see plenty of parking spots with the Tow Away sign. Those are the parking spots for the hotel. *you're welcome*
- Unstable shower temperature and leaking tap
- Hair on a bath towel
- Filthy kettle
Good service and reasonable prices
Nothing much
Location was great for our needs.
Working out where to check in wasn't completely clear. Check in was in the gaming area of the pub below, which when busy would be a bit of an issue. Without a designated reception area, means gaming staff are having to check you in while also trying to look after other patrons at the same time.
Had the view. Was absolutely beautiful
Quaint old fashioned style rooms - if you squint it feels like you are in Europe. Great location.
It’s simple, but has character
Property location is 10/10
Being across the road from the beach and short walk to some beautiful walks and views of the ocean was top tier.
For what you pay, it’s only for the location. There is nothing glamorous about the accommodation, it is very basic.
We got the infamous room with no door separating the bathroom from the bedroom. It’s a very large opening as well.
It had a very noisy fridge that I had no choice but to turn off at 2am due to it keeping me up all night.
Whilst the cleanliness was there and the bed was comfortable ect, the visit from the cockroaches were a sign of some deep uncleanliness issues.
Would I stay again? Yes for the location.
Great location
The bed was very hard . The sheets had cigarette burns in them
