Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great, with wonderful view of the bay from the rooftop restaurant. Hotel prices for booking island hopping excursions and renting scooters was very competitive and more reliable than booking with street vendors. Overall, good experience.
Probably the only negative is the rooms are very small. With the bed, clothes cabinet, desk and TV table, there was very little room to move about.
Hotel molto carino, camere pulite e di buone dimensioni. Personale gentile e disponibile, hanno organizzato per noi escursioni private a buon prezzo. Hanno un comodissimo servizio lavanderia a cifre modiche. Ottima anche la posizione a pochi passi dalla spiaggia/porto. Colazione simile a tanti altri hotel delle Filippine, quindi non particolarmente degna di nota ma comunque accettabile. Meravigliosa terrazza con vista dove rilassarsi al tramonto. Semmai tornassi al El Nido soggiornerei sicuramente qui.
Excelente ubicación, habitación amplia, con buen aire acondicionado. Lo mejor, las vistas que se tienen al tomar desayuno, que está bastante bueno igual. Es un hotel perfecto para alojarse mientras haces los tours por el Nido.
Solo por encontrar algo, quizás variar mas en las opciones dulces del desayuno.
We had a great stay at Sea Cocoon Hotel. The hotel was always very clean, the rooms were comfortable, and the staff were genuinely kind, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The location is also perfect to explore El Nido.
One small suggestion: it would be amazing if the hotel could follow the example of some other hotels in the Philippines and leave water and a little food outside for the stray cats and dogs. It would make a beautiful difference for the local animals.

This is a comfortable hotel which meets all travellers needs and is great value for money. The room was spacious and everything worked properly. The pool was a nice feature but the stand out advantage is the 6th floor dining room with great views, especially of the sunset. It is a great place to enjoy breakfast, which was generous and the menu changed every day. The staff were friendly, efficient and obliging. It is well located near everything. Highly recommended.
You need to balance the convenenience of bening in the heart of town against the noise and bussle. If you want calm and quiet head out of town. It can be noisy, especially on Saturday night: El Nido is a party town. The pool water was very warm and the air conditioner was fairly noisy, but these are minor issues.
Very accommodating and friendly staff. Clean and well maintained room and building. Breakfast is amazing and the Hotel is in the center and a lot of souvenir shops just in front.
We had a really great stay overall and would still rate this hotel 10/10. The hotel itself was very clean, the breakfasts were good, and all the staff except the reception team were very kind and helpful. The porter service was also excellent, and we truly enjoyed our time here.
Unfortunately, we had a few unpleasant experiences with the reception that slightly ruined the otherwise amazing impression of this hotel.
First, we asked the receptionist about a van transfer from El Nido to Port Barton and were told the price was 800 PHP. The next day, when we wanted to confirm and pay, the receptionist strangely asked us, “How much did I tell you yesterday?” We honestly answered 800 PHP, even though we knew cheaper vans were available outside the hotel. She confirmed the 800 PHP price again. However, during check-out, another receptionist suddenly told us we had to pay 850 PHP instead. Even though the same receptionist who originally quoted 800 PHP was standing there, she said nothing until directly asked, and only then admitted the agreed price was indeed 800 PHP.
We also had a disappointing experience with the laundry service arranged through reception. We were charged for nearly 6 kg of laundry from two very small bags, which honestly seemed impossible. One of our travel backpacks weighed only 10 kg in total, and the laundry we gave was maybe one-third of that. Additionally, on one of the laundry notes, the original weight of 1.5 kg had been crossed out and changed to 3.5 kg. When we pointed this out, we were told it was “a mistake.” Unfortunately, at that point we had no choice but to pay.
We would strongly recommend that guests personally check and weigh their laundry together with the reception staff to avoid misunderstandings.
Despite these situations, we still had a wonderful stay overall and really liked the hotel. It’s just a shame that the reception experiences negatively affected what otherwise would have been a perfect experience.
Starting from the staff they are vet friendly and nice people always smiling if i can give more than 10 i will the cleanliness of the hotel are superb .All in all i give them 2 thumbs up and a 10

Central location. Night markets are literally out the front door. Beautiful view of the water from the restaurant. The restaurant is decent, best breakfast we had in the Phillipines. Also really close to other restaurants. The staff are all really lovely and helpful. Decor is quirky in a good way. Nice pool.
The water is really close so convenient for island hopping tours, however you can’t actually swim at this beach. Swimming beaches are approx 15 mins away.
It’s close to everything and 5 min walk to the beach. The view from the breakfast area is amazing. The services were really smooth and the staff were very accommodating and thought of everthing.
My room smelled slightly damp it could be because of the aircon being on a lot.
