All in all a very nice hotel, nice rooms good food and great staff at a reasonably cost.
Pros:

A very nice Hotel; rooms are adequate but could do with some upgrades to the bathrooms. Comfy beds and a very nice breakfast. The hotel is never overcruded, so we always stay here overnight before travelling to Southampton for a cruise.
I recommend having a meal or a drink in the bar, we will be back next summer.

Cons:

The bathrooms could use a makeover, but are fine for a short stay.

Pros:

Pretty secure parking at the rear, we feel our motorcycle is reasonably safe. Rooms are decent, breakfast very nice. We stay here because of proximity to Portsmouth ferry which docks at 17:30. Hotel price is in line with facilities and we get a good night's sleep. Would definitely return if taking a ferry requires an overnight stay.
