Pros:

The first thing I noticed was the exceptional cleanliness of our allocated room. It was spotless! Secondly the friendliness of Kacey who served us with drinks and took our meal order. She was so kind and also gave brilliant breakfast service the next morning. We bumped into the housekeeper staff as we were checking out and have to highly commend Sarah for her customer service and Sheryl ( sorry if I've spelt your name incorrectly) and Maz her mum who cleaned our room (no18) Well done especially to these staff members who work to such an excellent standard

Cons:

Nothing

Short stay at Lysses hotel
Pros:

The close location to all amenities was great. It was a very friendly and welcoming hotel to stay at. And the food was tasty and freshly made.
My room had everything I required and had a modern feel to it, the bed was very comfortable which let me have a great sleep.
Would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Room was hot, window did not open, no air con. And could not eat in the hotel that night.
Pros:

Clean but not very user friendly

Cons:

The two staff I came into contact with seamed reluctant to hold a conversation. I was kept waiting too long to register my arrival even though I was the second visitor.

Excellent! Classy and friendly!
Pros:

Perfect for me... room with A/C (there was a heat wave), beautiful bath, countryside view, TV, WiFi, beautiful restaurant... excellent hot English breakfast, very helpful front desk staff. Hotel is just blocks from shopping and bus station, a little further to trains. Also loved the garden patio area in the back!

Cons:

No real issues... TV remote was intermittent, but manageable. Really happy with this hotel, will definitely visit again!

Ok, wouldn’t return unless it has a refurb
Cons:

The bed pillows were poor and needed replacing, the room was tired with marks on the carpet and soft furnishings.

Overnighter for ferry crossing to France 🇫🇷

Air conditioned room was very welcome in the hot weather. Had a lovely evening meal on the restaurant terrace. Good to have onsite free parking. Convenient for getting to the cross channel ferry port in Portsmouth about 15 minutes away.

Cons:

Regular mechanical noise in the room was irritating.

A good basic hotel but with excellent breakfast

Excellent breakfast and friendly staff. It had air conditioning which was great but kept making a droning from time to time which meant we turned it off.

Cons:

Bed was a bit firm for my liking. Decor was dated.
