A good, basic hotel with some nice un-basic features! We've stayed here a number of times in recent years - its only 10-15 mins from Portsmouth ferry, so handy for a pre or post ferry stopover. Has all the basics needed (comfy beds, good breakfast, plenty of secure parking), plus a nice bar and a beautiful well maintained garden & patio area. Great staff too.

Breakfast was good
The room was not prepared properly. There were three lamps in the room none of them worked. The tv remote didn't work. The tv had to be turned on manually and only 1 channel was available due to the remote not working. When I told reception they said the hotel was being sold so the owners were not willing to spend any money on it.
