Lovely room, friendly staff
Breakfast wasn't great. Very watery coffee which had to be sent back. The bacon was covered in white exudate which looked very unappealing.
Amazing property & fantastic staff
Nothing
A big room, well decorated and with a very comfy bed. There's a lovely bar in the hotel, and a decent breakfast where you pick the continental breakfast bits yourself and then order off a small menu for your hot breakfast.
No safe in the room (like most Ireland hotels!)
Excellent location on the Wild Atlantic Way, in an area of great beauty, excellent for walks and wonderful beaches. A good location from which to explore the cultural and historic towns of North Mayo. As well as the friendly bar in the hotel there are traditional Irish bars nearby. The whole area is a hidden gem of authentic Irish life.
A gem of a hotel to discover in a remote corner of the West!
Felt very luxurious, met very friendly and attentive staff, despite being there the busiest week of the year (during August Festival). We will be back.
Breakfast was great. plenty of choice.
Lovely hotel and room. Very peaceful location. The receptionist was very welcoming and helpful.
Breakfast was a little disorganised.
It is a really homely atmosphere at the Erris Coast and is in fact my favourite hotel.
There really is nothing I could identify that we did not like about the property.
Lovely place to relax very clean
Nice tidy and beautifully decorated rooms, the beds are really comfy, the hotel bar does lovely food and was affordable. Was great to be able to adventure and see some beautiful locations, I would highly recommend Achill Island, particularly Keem Beach, it’s little over an hour away from the hotel if you don’t take stops along the way.
Amazing location and brilliant staff but the worst breakfast I have ever had. Totally inedible, scrabbled eggs were incredibly salty.
Well the breakfast was not up to the usual standard first the spoons was not on the table for cereals we had to call the staff to get tea and coffee she came back with it but never asked you want toast .the 3 staff that was on it look like there first day no breakfast ready at 8.15am breakfast started at 8am
I don't know what was going on .
This never happen before staff was always excellent breakfast was always on time
Everything else was fine dinner was Beautiful staff couldn't do enough bedroom was excellent clean Everything you needed it was just the breakfast
Location
Breakfast was good and quickly served to our table in the first floor restaurant. It is a beautiful modern hotel with good facilities, an old world feel about the public interior rooms good friendly local staff.
I had stayed before one night in August 2022 and returned with my husband.
Easy to find, good staff and comfortable bedrooms. Lots of parking in a rural quite location.
During my previous visit I had eaten an evening meal in the first floor dinning room with beautiful views over local countryside. On Thursday 16 July, evening meals were only served in the snug area of the bar different ambiance.
