Overall enjoyable stay
Pros:

Great proximity to where we were visiting.
Great food in the restaurant.
Staff friendly & helpful.
Room was spacious & clean.

Cons:

There was no hot water in the rooms on check out day. (We had 3 rooms, none of them had hot water). It was reported to reception & dealt with straight away - which was great - however it wasn’t something that could be repaired straight away. Therefore none of us got washed/showered. We appreciate that not all problems can be fixed immediately, however there was no offer of compensation which we were quite disappointed about.

It was a really good stay
Pros:

It was near where my neice got married and held the reception.
Staff where really friendly.
Could make your cup of coffee/ tea in your room.
Room was really nice and warm

Sleeping in that room was an endurance test.
Pros:

Staff were nice.

Cons:

The rooms are awful and need complete refurbishment. The beds are hard and very uncomfortable, the worst I have ever tried to sleep on. The decor is depressing and cheap and nasty. Very disappointing for the price.

Great stay- very friendly.
Pros:

Very friendly staff throughout the stay. They were able to store our bikes securely. Excellent breakfast.

The whole Burnside experience was one of pleasure.
Pros:

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful from reception to the bar and restaurant serving a good selection of well cooked and presented fresh food .The breakfast menu also had differing options including the full breakfast which was exceptional. The hotel was warm as outside was -3 and very clean as were the rooms .We will definitely be returning to THE BURNSIDE on future visits to Scotland
