Terrible Experience – Completely Ruined Our Holiday
I had an extremely disappointing experience at Alpina Hotel Gudauri. This was honestly one of the worst hotel stays I have ever had, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
The rooms are not properly cleaned or serviced. During our stay, they simply did not clean or make up our room. For a hotel, basic housekeeping should be the absolute minimum, yet even that was missing.
There was no kettle in the room, so we couldn’t even make hot water, which is such a basic amenity. They also do not offer room service, making the stay even more inconvenient.
The breakfast was horrible. The dining area was poorly managed, and there were not enough staff even to clear and clean the tables properly. Dirty tables were left unattended, and the whole breakfast experience felt disorganized and unpleasant.
The biggest problem is the overall lack of service and staff. It feels like the hotel is operating without enough employees to provide even basic hospitality. When you go on holiday, you expect to relax and enjoy your stay—not spend your time wondering why your room hasn’t been cleaned or why basic services aren’t available.
Alpina Hotel Gudauri made our holiday an extremely frustrating and unpleasant experience. Very poor housekeeping, terrible breakfast, lack of basic amenities, and almost nonexistent service.
I deeply regret choosing this hotel and would never stay here again.
They didn't clean room, there is no roomservice,the places has loads of bugs the breakfast area was poorly organised no clean table they don't refill empty food trays overall very horrible stay experience
Friendly staff, upgraded room with a wonderful view, great breakfast, good parking, quiet area. We loved everything about this place!
The spring on the door was very strong, but it still didn't close it all the way. The shower was a little difficult to control. These were just minor niggles.
Amazing view from the balcony. Wonderful hospitality, we thank MR Saba for his kindness, he helped us learn more attractions around us which made our trip prettier. Very delicious food. Rooms are super clean and cozy. Highly recommended.

So kind and helpgul.
My friend and I stayed at this hotel in March. The service at the reception was excellent — a special thank you for that! The staff helped us with any questions we had: how to book snowmobiles, where to eat, and the best way to get to the ski lift.
The hotel also had a dedicated area where we could leave our skis and boots, which was very convenient. There was also a T-bar right next to the hotel, making it easy to get up the mountain.
Everything was great!
The only small downside was the location of the hotel, as there weren’t many additional entertainment options nearby. However, overall, when you spend the whole day skiing from morning until evening, there isn’t really much time left for anything else anyway.
Good view, I stayed in this hotel 2 night. All staff are very kind and helpful. Our car had stuck in snow and we have many big luggages. Saba who's service manager and his General manager help me to take all of the luggages into hotel. Staff at reception's name Marium help me too many things too. All food at hotel is good including breakfast and restaurant. Hope to see you all next time. Thank you for everything.
