The locational convenience. The best hotel halfway between Calcutta and North Bengal. Safe and outside the city
The elevators malfunctioned multiple times..with my mother unable to walk, it was an issue
The location of the hotel is very convenient for travellers who don't want to enter the main city. It is located on the national highway.

The security guard didn’t want us to take our bikes to the front door of the hotel, so I told him we’ve booked rooms and we have luggage so I am going to the front door. Why do they seem to think if you are riding a bike that you are not worthy of going to the front door!
The hotel bar itself was ok but the standard of the food was not good, it was quite bland. The beer was also warm so the fridges need turning down or fixing, we had to ask them to put it in the freezer for 10 minutes.
The staff in the bar/restaurant were also not attentive as they kept disappearing and every time we wanted something else we had to go and find them. This issue needs sorting out, there should always be someone in, at or around the bar area.
We also wanted to pay before we went to bed that night to save time in the morning as we’re were leaving at 04:30 but the receptionist (man) kept saying not possible and couldn’t tell me why it was not possible, very annoying.

The bathroom can be slightly cleaner. The rules. Please add shower curtains. Else the entire bathroom floor gets super wet
This was the first hotel where the staff reached out to us in advance, asking:
“You’ll be arriving late, the restaurant will be closed. Would you like us to prepare something in advance and keep it warm for you? This dish will stay delicious, but that one might get a bit tough.”
Just for this level of care and thoughtfulness, I can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is very conveniently located. Good, spacious and clean rooms. Dinner was good. My room had a very nice view with the sun rising just visible from the bed.elevator

The staff was excellent. We were given a quiet 4th floor recently renovated very clean room with a view. The breakfast was made complimentary for us. In fact we had reached quite tired and the front desk immediately offered us two bottles of water . The room service was prompt on time and the breakfast spread was quite large .

Given a room upgrade on arrival. Rooms at the back of the hotel get a lovely sunset view. Very comfortable bed. Everything very clean. An early breakfast was accomodated. All staff very efficient.
