De geweldige ontvangst. Hele hartelijke, lieve mensen die het je echt naar de zin willen maken. En wat een fantastische inrichting/ mooi pand!

Cons:

Het enige minpuntje (waar het hotel overigens weinig aan kan doen) - het was erg heet in de kamer ondanks de ventilator. Maar dat heb je met een oud gebouw en al die tropische dagen achter elkaar. (Enne vroeger, in 1635, hadden ze niet eens een ventilator 😉)

A beautiful hotel in a gorgeous town, close to Amsterdam
Pros:

Beautiful heritage hotel. Awesome staff. Great location- Haarlem is a gorgeous town, and 15 mins from Amsterdam by train, so a beautiful alternative to staying in Amsterdam ( a better alternative we thought). Lovely breakfast. Great staff.

Cons:

It was hot and we were up on the top floor, but they gave us an air cooler and a fan. They are apparently installing air conditioning over the coming year and that will be wonderful. There is a lift, but the stairs are steep and narrow if you use them ( the original stairs, so no surprise there).

Pros:

Het ontvangst was heel persoonlijk en zeer vriendelijk. Personeel ook heel vriendelijk. Ontbijt ruim en voldoende. Fijn dat ze het aan tafel brachten. Kamers schoon en netjes en zoals verwacht. Prachtig pand op een uitstekende plek in het centrum.

Pros:

Es ist ein ganz besonders schönes Hotel , sehr geschmackvoll dekoriert in einem alten Gebäude. Ich habe selten so ein freundliches und nettes Personal erlebt. Man fühlt sich willkommen und gut aufgehoben . Das Frühstück ist hervorragend.

Pros:

Beautiful room in a beautiful, historic hotel right in the centre of town. The management and staff were so friendly and knowledgeable and went out of their way to help us. Excellent breakfast at a good price served fresh at your table. Top quality toiletries in the bathroom. Good walking distance from the train station. Will definitely be staying here again.

What a wonderful place!
Pros:

This thoughtfully restored historic building is remarkably comfortable and the staff were so warm and welcoming. Although there is no central AC the room window unit was quiet and effective on a very hot day. The central location is also a big plus!

Cons:

I was surprised that there were no charging ports at the bedside in a recently renovated room. The bedside tables were so small that they barely held my iPad.
