Ótimo hotel
Pros:

Localização ótima, funcionários nota 10, especialmente a Luisa. Quarto amplo e confortável. Casa antiga e muito charmosa. Café da manhã delicioso! Elas trazem várias delícias a mesa, como ovo, cesta de pães…

Cons:

Não tem elevador e nem isolamento acústico nas janelas.

Heel fijn en sfeervol hotel midden in historisch Haarlem
Pros:

Zeer smaakvol ingericht, perfecte locatie om Haarlem te bezoeken. Personeel uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Schoon en luxueus. Historisch pand een hele mooie moderne en sfeervolle twist gegeven.

Cons:

Er is niet echt een receptie. Dat hoeft ook niet persé maar een laptop in het restaurant voelde wat informeel. Misschien juist de bedoeling? Verder uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel.

Lovely historic hotel, perfectly centrally located near all things to do in Haarlem.
Pros:

Loved the historical nature of the hotel and the large rooms.

The staff was incredibly helpful.

Cons:

Not a big thing at all just that to carry two suitcases up the stairs was a little scary outside of that nothing else that would be an issue

Haarlem City Stay.
Pros:

Lovely old 17th century property, and run by a young team, who were very attentive to our needs. Lots of history, great breakfast, and lovely comfortable bed.

Cons:

Stairs are "interesting", some with more limited mobility may find a challenge. Staff said a lift was going to be installed shortly. Stairs are original Dutch, typical of the ra the property was built.

Wat een fijn verblijf!
Pros:

Wat een fijn en vriendelijk ontvangst!
Tijdens een heerlijke cappucino een toelichting op het prachtige historische pand. En wat een mooie centrale plek in Haarlem met volop parkeermogelijkheden in de buurt. Heerlijke bedden en een zeer goed en lekker ontbijt aan tafel geserveerd. Wij komen zeker terug in Hotel 1635!

We loved our stay at 1635, the location, Staff and breakfast were all fantastic.
Pros:

We loved the location and the quirky vibe. The welcome from the staff was wonderful and the offer of coffee and tea when we arrived (fresh off a transatlantic flight) was very appreciated. We also appreciated the curated list of local recommendations. We tried several of the recommended restaurants and enjoyed them all.

Cons:

The strange staircase leading into room 203 would be challenging for some, but it was ok for us.

Literally the nicest most helpful staff I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting

Lovely old building with ongoing efforts to bring in furniture of the 1600s, perfect location for walking around Haarlem, and close enough to the train station

We loved the people and the location but the hotel was overpriced for the amenities provided.
Pros:

Staff were exceptionally nice and willing to help with absolutely anything

Cons:

Room 102 is not 4 star accommodation. Wardrobe space is inadequate. The safe is a box on the floor. There are no drawers. The lighting is poor. The bathroom space is awkward. The towels were smelly (they smelled burnt). The floors were not cleaned every day, in fact dust accumulated over a three day period.
