Noise rude staff dirty rooms
Near the airport. Bed for kids made for arrival. There was no problem we arrived 2AM. Outstanding breakfast for the value of money, staff worked very hard during breakfast to make sure everyone had enough of everything. Rooms clean .
Location fine , close to motorway.
Didn't like the barking dog in the room next door. We were in a Holiday Inn not dog kennels
Didn't like the frequent loud rumbling noise coming from generators or some similar machine.
The location was good for my purposes between Liverpool and Manchester.
Expensive bar and too many pets.
It was very comfortable and my room was not far from the entrance

Having spent 20 years in and out of hotels around the world and comparing modern hotels with my past experience, this one was excellent mainly because of the room phone to contact reception and the room service option.
Sadly the food. It offered basic pub type of food, so I didn't have much choice and ordered the 'pork belly specially recommended' option. This was very poor. Pork belly should be cooked with fatty layers, to melt and baste the meat whilst cooking. This unfortunately was completely dry and the broccoli was hard and uncooked. It was a lot of money to spend on mashed potato.
Staff are excellent. Very comfortable room on the ground floor. Lovely food especially breakfast
