Close to airport yet very quiet
Pros:

We arrived around 1 AM from the airport and so nice to be greeted w a warm smile. Our room was large, the bed was so comfortable, ac was moderate, and the hot water was plentiful. Enjoyed our breakfast out in the courtyard by the pool with a lovely breeze. It is very quiet here which was what we needed after the long flight. Enjoyed talking cricket with the staff. Great place to stay. Close to the airport and without the jet noise.

Heavenly place
Pros:

I stayed one half night in a budget room as I was v late arriving from the airport. This room was simple small and had an ensuite and air con. So for the price was good value. Luckily my friend booked the family suite which was superb.
I highly recommend this place to stay when arriving in or leaving Sri Lanka.

Für eine Nacht ok, mehr nicht!

Es war sehr nah am Flughafen

Cons:

Auf booking wurde angegeben, man könne mit Amex bezahlen (was mich sehr gewundert hatte, da diese Karte ansonsten in Sri Lanka nie akzeptiert wird). Es stellte sich dann vor Ort heraus, dass es natürlich nicht funktioniert. Der Hotelmitarbeiter beharrte darauf dass es klappt und hat es dann 3 mal versucht, was sinnlos war, da auf dem Schild was er mir zeigte stand, dass nur Visa und Mastercard funktionieren (er aber wohl gar nicht verstand, dass Amex eine ganz andere Karte ist). Das Zimmer war viel viel kleiner als auf den Fotos. Dazu gibt es enorm viele Mücken. Es gab zwar die Möglichkeit ein Mückennetz über dem Bett zu benutzen, doch dieses hat so unangenehm gerochen dass ich es nicht benutzen wollte. Zudem war leider (der eigentlich schöne Pool) ziemlich dreckig. Den Pool sollte man grundsätzlich schon mal reinigen …

It was in a beautiful garden with a pool. Plentiful and good breakfast. I stayed in the family suite. Spacious. Really clean and comfortable. I would go back there.

Prachtig, kleinschalig, recent gerenoveerd, goed onderhouden hotel in een oud pand. Uiterst vriendelijk - soms wat trager ;o) - personeel. Fijne ligstoelen én extra handdoeken aan het mooie zwembad. Heerlijk restaurant, uitgebreid ontbijt (mix van Europees en Sri Lankaans). Midden in de stad, maar toch rustig (de luidspreker van de school/kerk ernaast niet meegerekend). Als eerste en/of laatste verblijf in Sri Lanka een uitstekende keuze!

Fantastic service and close to the airport
Pros:

I arrived late and the property was only a short 12min drive from the airport. The facilities were great and breakfast and service outstanding.
I left my kindle on the plane and the hotel manager helped me getting it back by contacting the airline for me. Without his help, I wouldn’t have gotten it back! I highly recommend this place

Luxury stay and great quarity for money
Pros:

Swimming poor was clean and warm. The building itself is super cute and clean. The restaurant is small but lots of choice. Seafood Kottu was so tasty!
