Since the hotel doesn’t offer breakfast, it would be nice to have a few basic amenities in the room, such as a kettle to make coffee or at least some cups.

Kitchen area and bathroom dirty. Floor under bed very dusty. Had to wash plates and cooking equipment before using. Balcony small, not large enough to sit out on.

The room was too cold (March) the heater was very noisy and woke me up continuously at night. The blanket was not sufficient. The room felt unclean, smelling of smokers and with dirty areas.

Nothing to complain, is just a basic room, serve its goal, just to sleep for a night!

Nothing I didn't like.

There was a door in between the street door and the room door with a lock that was difficult to open. However, after I reported it it was left open until it could be fixed.

Wasn't really staffed most of the time so they needed to know exactly when I was arriving ahead of time and exactly when I was leaving, and also meant I couldn't checkout but store my bag there for the day while I explored, which in my experience is a normal thing to be able to do in a hostel, so all that definitely limited the flexibility a bit.
Other things that weren't ideal were there was no microwave, hot plate, or even water boiler to make tea/coffee so there was no way to prepare food, couldn't even heat my leftovers. Typically hostels have some kind of group kitchen at least. Also there was no hot water for showering and the bed was not super comfortable, the springs/wires in the mattress were poking no matter where you slept on the bed.
Overall I wasn't spending much time there so the location was the really important part and that was great, but would have been nice to at least have the flexibility to leave my bag for a few hours after checking out.

The bed was surprisingly uncomfortable. The windows were not insulating enough, so most of the time we were cold *and* it was noisy due to the restaurant next door and the cafés nearby. We had to ask for a kettle and extra towels the moment we came in. The AC started making an interesting noise around day three. The shower head is quite tiny and the water pressure isn't the best. There were no bins in the room except for the one in the bathroom which was quite inconvenient. Following the weekend, the reception called us and the cleaner banged on our door at quite the early hour which was not appreciated- a better system should be implemented to indicate whether people want the room cleaned or not. Additionally, that same night when we came back, we both noticed the wet mop smell left in the hall and it did not dissipate for the next few days. Having said that, there is no way to effectively dry towels.

A bit noisy even in winter season ;

If your there to enjoy the night life. If your there to relax and enjoy the sights then find somewhere a light further out from the centre.
