Its location was superb. It’s a cozy boutique hotel with an amazing view and helpful staff.
The service, the rooms, the view and the overall experience
Nothing
As soon as you enter the property, you get that colonial vibe with soothing welcome drink (kahva). This is a boutique hotel but very well maintained with best services. I have stayed in 8-10 hotels in kasauli, even in so called "4/5 stars" but this hotel really gives them a run for their money. Rooms are very spacious, airy and neat. Washrooms are quite modern with high quality toiletries. Food is top-notch. Had Chinese in dinner. They did not offer a bfast buffet as only a few rooms were booked, but they offered good variety on order. Cheesy Grilled sandwiches and Upma were sublime. Overall, a perfect place to stay which is very close to Mall road, just 800mtrs by road, there is also a short cut but it has steep steps and then road, could be little tiring for some. Offered complementary cake as it was my wedding anniversary. I will definitely visit again.
Prices could be felt a little higher, but there is no other such option close to mall road so i think that justifies the prices.

Breakfast was limited yet decent because of limited guests they were providing whatever was essential. Chef was great. Good quality food. Location lawn was very nice with a beautiful view. Restaurant & Bar was neat, tidy.

While Daleside Manor has potential, being a return guest for a couple of years my stay was disappointing. The hospitality was severely lacking, with staff often appearing uncooperative and making us feel like a burden. Requests were frequently met with 'no,' and even pre-arranged bonfires weren't propery maintained, despite extra charges. Additionally, the hotel showed signs of wear and tear including dampness, and the timings were excessively strict, detracting from the luxury experience expected."
Every thing was picture perfect.
May be a starircase to take upstairs from reception to main gate up the steep road and small setup of hot and cold warer jn the upper balcony. Also the pillows should be a combination of hard and soft. People prefrring either will have an option
