A really fantastic hotel, the staff are absolutely fantastic, no ask is too much for them
Pros:

Classic hotel hinting at a bygone era, alternative decor throughout and a decent swimming pool

Cons:

Some areas could use updating but I believe it’s a work in progress, understandable in this economy!

Elegant building with eclectic steampunk decorations, and a great shower!
Pros:

Beautiful, charming dining room, small continental breakfast buffet complemented by hot menu options. Excellent shower with high pressure, ceiling-mounted rain shower head. Small sitting area in the bedroom made the bedroom feel more spacious.

Cons:

I don't get the half-enclosed showers, but that's everywhere.

Very elegant with a lovely warm feeling from the moment you arrive. The interior design was exceptional.

Cons:

Nothing. Could do with aircon in the bedrooms but apart from that is was fantastic.

Pros:

We loved the size of the room & bathroom. Breakfast was pretty good. I used the swimming pool & jacuzzi, which was okay.

Cons:

The sink in the bathroom was cracked. The kettle was slightly faulty as it didn't switch itself off (this was reported to reception). The carpets were looking a little bit worn. There were building works going on next to the hotel, but it wasn't too much of a problem.

Ok but would not stay again
Pros:

The building and surroundings

Cons:

Slow food service, under seasoned food, burnt dessert.

Children running around the dining room and no staff asked them to stop as there was clearly no parenting going on.
