Cons:

I’ve stayed at Penventon a few times now for work and I usually stay in the bigger double room but this time I had chosen the smaller one…
The metal bed was squeeky every time I moved around, there was a damp patch on the floor by the radiator and the floor almost sank a little when you walk on that side. So I won’t be booking that particular room again.

It can also get quite noisy if they have events on.

Lovely stay!
Pros:

Lovely staff and the room was beautiful
The swimming pool was a hit. The restaurant food was really lovely

Very enjoyable stay
Pros:

Amazing rooms, large and beautifully furnished. Very pet friendly with a basket and goodies for the dog provided. Lovely dog friendly restaurant area and good food.

Cons:

The room was very hot, and the mattress a bit too hard for my liking

Pros:

I usually skip past reviews but this was worth a mention. I arrived pretty late and managed to plug my car into electric and order a couple of glasses of wine and late night snack.
Rebecca on reception was great, so was the barman.
Room was really comfortable - shame I had to leave early but early a m breakfast was quickly served and consumed.
Ideal place for a quick stop for low stress overnight or something more relaxed.

Toilet was in-between two rooms. It needs to have a lock otherwise kids might barge in when you are doing your business.

All the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. You could tell this place was an independent. The cooked breakfast was served and was of good quality. The continental buffet was nice and again of good quality, lots of jams, pastries and things for kids. 20 min drive from st ives. Nice pool, gym access and spa treatments.

Perfect hotel for holiday with family and dog
Pros:

Very good stay experience! We had a wonderful holiday stay at dog friendly room . Hotel staffs all very kind and helpful. Delicious breakfast and hotel restaurant dinner is perfect as well . we will definitely stay again and recommend to friends
