Lovely stay.
Pros:

Pros:

The staff was all very friendly and supportive. The dinner at the restaurant was absolutely delicious. Rooms are spacious and shower fine too (great products). Thank you!

Pros:

The room was perfect for myself. The service very good. Food was excellent. Hotel and grounds very nice. The spa ( i had a facial) was very relaxing.

Cons:

It would have been better to have some form of lift as my friend has trouble with stairs. The pool side was grubby and dated. The sheet on my bed was for a single bed, I was sleeping in a double!

Hotel 5 * stay would stay again.
Pros:

Had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The food was delicious with plenty of choice, the spa facilities were excellent and very relaxing, and the rooms were comfy, warm, and spotless. The staff made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. Overall, a lovely experience and I would definitely stay again.

A fine place to spend a night! The staff are really attentive and kind.
Pros:

Stately, grand, definitely a hotel for seasoned up market travelers. The dining room is wonderful, beautiful, serene and the food is very good

Cons:

We are elderly and the long wak up stairs to our room was tiring. The shower was tricky to figure out.

Loved this hotel
Pros:

Great staff, gorgeous hotel tastefully decorated.
The rain shower and double sinks in lush bathroom
Evening meal was good

Cons:

The EV chargers were difficult to use, they required an app which could not be easily downloaded.

Cornwall Visit
Pros:

Lovely large room. Great car parking. Did not have our room refreshed, but we were left a basket outside our bedroom full of things we may require. We did not use any of the items, but it was great to know they were there. Thank You.

Fabulously Dog Friendly.
Pros:

The Penventon is extremely dog friendly, lovely doggy welcome pack on arrival and our little one was allowed everywhere we went and at the dining table. Nice furnishings inside the bar and lounge area, very accommodating staff and lovely ‘huge’ shower in our room.

Cons:

The location was very limiting and a bit disappointing. There was no land or views, the property is located inside a town with houses all round and just nothing out of the windows to see. It is presently undergoing refurbishments outside too, so somewhat of a building site. No where to walk our dog, just a patch of grass next to the car park. Payment requested on arrival after an almost 7 hour car journey, it would have been far better to wait and ask on departure.
