とてつもない僥倖。新千歳空港不全がもたらした幸せな１泊でした！
Pros:

歴史的な大雪のため新千歳空港の飛行機が飛ばず、途方に暮れていたとき、札幌市で予約が取れたのが「あさ野ホテル」でした。新千歳エアポートに６０分並んで、９０分かけて新札幌駅に着きました。当ホテルに着くと、社長自ら接客してくださったうえ、気さくに話しかけてくださり、飛行機が飛ばなかった疲れが一気に吹き飛びました。近くの「大通り食堂」のオヤジが絶品で、カキフライ定食が美味しかったです。静かなお部屋で暖房もしっかり効いて、熟睡できました。飛行機が飛ばなかったおかげで「あさ野ホテル」に宿泊できたと逆に感謝するほどになりました。また札幌に来たときは「あさ野ホテル」に宿泊したいです。

A lovely place to stay and see Sapporo from.
Pros:

This is a great place to stay in Sapporo. Not quite in the center of the city, but the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful and easy to walk to Odori Park area. The staff was lovely, the room was quiet spacious and bedding was comfortable. If you have the chance, check out the Gundam bar/lounge next door owned by the owner as well.

Cons:

The bathroom was quite tight, but a decent tub and was all that was needed.

ススキノに足が向かない人向け
Pros:

繁華街から離れた大通公園の先にあり、静寂な環境。地下鉄の駅にも近く、チェックアウト後に駅のロッカーに荷物を入れて最寄りの道立近代美術館で展示会を楽しめた。

まあ、場所を見付けにくいかも知れないがスマホで探せる。

Budget place for travelers
Pros:

It's the cheapest guesthouse available. It is two stops away from odori station. I like the traditional Japanese style bedding.

Cons:

Very narrow staircase going up. It is difficult to carry big bags up the stairs. The bathroom is very very tiny.

Pros:

A very pleasant place in a quiet avenue. The room was very clean with plenty of amenities and a a private bathroom. The owner is also very nice and accomodant.

A clean place to sleep
Pros:

Friendly staff and clean room. As stated in the description it was just a thin futon in a basic room but we were comfortable. Towels and toothbrush provided. Great if you just need somewhere cheap to sleep.

Cons:

The room was very cold on arrival. It had a small heater which heated up fairly quickly but could not be left on when the room was empty. Not many facilities available, just a kettle and sink. There was a microwave outside the room that could presumably be used by anyone.

Pros:

Nice traditional room with a very friendly staff. It's a great no-frills option.

Cons:

We had problems with the heater. It over heated the room, making us feel stuffy and tired. Finding it was tricky and confusing; the fact that there are two train stops with nearly identical names did not help.
