Good overall
Pros:

I went to Tapalpa for a wedding and this hotel was very near to the venue. We did not have any bad experience. Everything was ok.

Lovely choice outside of Tapalpa village
Pros:

Easy to find; not far from the village; big parking lot; rooms are nicely decorated, clean with their own bathrooms; hot showers; plenty of blankets; quiet with birdsong in the morning; very peaceful. We even did a bbq on our portable grill in the courtyard, and when we forgot our plates and cutlery, they happily provided us some.

Cons:

The only thing was when we arrived, the desk staff lacked warmth - no smile, no welcome, just fill out this paper. They warmed up later, but the initial welcome is also important.
