Excellent value, enjoyable and fun experience, I will be back!
Pros:

Wonderful location, adjacent to the fascinating Abbey ruins. It is primarily a retreat centre newly moving into hotel work and they are doing an excellent job. The place is warm, comfortable fascinating old house with much of interest. The staff were exceptional - well-organised, kind and constantly helpful. Breakfast really was superb. At the moment it’s really competitively priced too, so an ideal spot for a couple of days away walking and enjoying exploring the abbey and the nearby church.

Cons:

I liked everything.

Pros:

The staff and location were excellent, very friendly. The breakfast was very good, plenty of choice. Unfortunately the room which we had was rather small and sparse with no TV. It was a surprise to us to find out that it's a 'Christian / Spiritual retreat' which is presumably why the room was sparse. Also, as the staff are only there at specific times, check in is generally between 4pm - 8pm, although we were fortunate as there was someone there when we arrived a couple of hours prior to those times.
Importantly, there is plenty of parking space and the local town is an easy few minutes walk.
As such, all in all a pleasant stay but be aware that it is more a B&B than a hotel and therefore does not have some of the facilities available at a hotel .. but what it does have is friendliness, quietness, a good breakfast and a very relaxed atmosphere.

Cons:

No TV in the room and specific check in times (4-8pm).

We enjoyed being in the centre of Whalley and the ambience of the building but we won’t be staying at Whalley Abbey B&am
Pros:

Very close to the centre of Whalley market town. The location was excellent with plenty of car parking. The staff were excellent, friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The room was very cold and very small. It was an attic room which also had limited views. When the radiator was activated it made a noise which disturbed our sleep. The breakfast was very limited and only just warm.
