Disappointing
Pros:

Location not too bad. Food choices poor especially for kids. Alot of food was just microwaved

Cons:

Food choice and quality. Lots of arcade machines were broke. Place looked really run down and needed an investment of money

Overall a good stay in Aviemore.
Pros:

The swimming pool was very clean and had 2 pools which meant it wasnt overcrowded. Plenty to keep children entertained close by.

Cons:

We didn't like how far the resort was away from the main Street of Aviemore, we thought it would be walking distance but it was more a 15mins walk.

Having been loads of times can see they’re trying to up grade things but still long way off Hilton
Pros:

The room was quite small but reasonably clean think it just had a makeover.

Cons:

The whole hotel was uncomfortably hot, was quite a few guests mentioning it. Plus workers using it were happily sitting in the main foyer which is probably best thing about hotel in there dirty working gear😏

Great for families. Bring ear defenders very noisy
Pros:

It has a lot to offer and very child friendly and allows dogs.

Cons:

The kids disco was fab but my god it was far far far to loud even the kids found it to loud my son is autistic and even at the bar outside of the events hall the music was very loud. Also the bathroom in the room had a lot of hairs left about the place and dust. This hotel is very very noisy until around 11:30pm with banging and sounds of people knocking the whole time.

Excellent food. Check in always a problem.
Pros:

Clean reception area. Bathroom had been updated in room- although shower didn’t work! Excellent food at buffet for dinner.

Cons:

Check in online didn’t work- check in at desk was quite a wait. Shower in room didn’t work. Bedroom window was broken. Bedroom was a little cramped. General hall areas were very warm.

Pros:

Lovely stay in the forest
Pros:

The hotel is really nice, has everything you need for a good stay. There's a funhouse for the children, crazy golf, dinosaurs, a park and sport courts and a mini ski/sledge area and a pool on site. There's three separate mini arcade areas and three areas to get food from. The staff were really friendly considering how big and how busy the hotel is.

Cons:

The room was slightly on the small side but it didn't really matter for us. The buffet was really nice, but a bit on the pricey side.

Avoid avoid avoid
Pros:

Nothing

Cons:

Dreadful customer service. Not willing to help resolve issue with booking. Persistently ignored my phone calls so I had to drive 1 hour to make a modification to my booking. When I arrived the receptionist (Eastern European lady) was completely dismissive. Had to the. Wait 30 minutes for the manager. An American lady who seemed nice but also completely unable or unwilling to help.

Go somewhere else
Pros:

I chose this hotel for its swimming pool and the size of its beds. Some of the staff were very nice.

Cons:

When we arrived there was a queue forming at reception as checking in started at 4pm. The receptionist was doing nothing until 4 pm sharp. It felt like being in the army.

The pool was packed with people, including a high percentage of screaming children. In the bedroom one of the mattresses was wrecked, and unfortunately, this became apparent only when getting into bed as the duvet masked the effect to begin with. Both beds were made so badly, that the first impression was that the beds had already been slept in.

When I went to check out I reported the wrecked mattress and there was no apology, just a comment that some new mattresses had been ordered, and one might have been destined for my room. No concern about lack of sleep or offer for compensation: could not care less.
