Tired bedroom and dirty bathroom
Pros:

Warm welcome from the nice lady

Cons:

I do t like leaving a bad review but this has to be said. The room wasn’t clean and the bathroom was dirty.
Sink was blocked, toilet seat cracked.
Badly in need of some proper cleaning, and put a new loo seat in. A basic housekeeping regime could easily make this a nice place to stay. As it is, there’s no way we would return.

Pros:

The staff are so lovely, friendly and helpful. And the breakfast was fantastic. The room and bathroom were spacious. We actually booked to stay at the Ship because we ate breakfast there one day and it was so good that we decided to book overnight the next time we came to Crediton. Thank you.

Cons:

Nothing. It was an unpretentious pub. A friendly place to stay.

Room spacious - center of town.
Pros:

Room held 3 beds (only paid for double as we were 2). The accommodation is above the pub, it was not a problem with noise and the same goes for road traffic. We would stay again. There's an overnight parking around the corner.

Cons:

Breakfast not included, could have been an added bonus. We went elsewhere.

Pros:

Ideally situated in the town centre. The side door enabled us to come and go without going through the bar. The facilities were excellent with a fridge, fresh milk and tea and coffee. The room was of a good size.

Cons:

The single glazing meant that traffic noise was persistent, as was the snoring from a neighbouring room.
