Die Lage ist sehr schön, ruhig direkt am Fluss gelegen. Sie hat zu empfehlen für ein paar ruhige Tage. Essen und Personal war top und alles war sauber.

Friendly staff and good food

Tolle Unterkunft! Etwas abgelegen,aber wunderschön inmitten der Natur, an einem Fluss,in dem man baden kann. Sehr nette Gastgeber, sie haben uns eine Tour zum Regenwald organisiert. Das Essen war auch vorzüglich. Ein ganz besonderer Aufenthalt!

Alles! Echt, als je naar Sinharaja Rainforest wil; boek hier je verblijf. De locatie is top juist omdat je niet dichtbij alle andere resorts zit. En alsnog op 20minuten afstand van de ingang van het regenwoud. Het voelt heel privé aan, prachtige omgeving. De eigenaar is super vriendelijk. We hadden een pakket via hun gedaan voor een tour door Sinharaja Forest. Alles keurig goed geregeld. Super prijs kwaliteit verhouding, ik vond het verblijf eigenlijk nog veel mooier dan verwacht.
Ik baal dat we er maar 1 nacht waren.
Echt een aanrader dit. Ik denk wel een hoogtepunt van onze reis in Sri Lanka :-).

De ligging van de accommodatie is erg mooi, met name vanwege de natuur die de accommodatie omringd. Naar de ingang van Sinharaja regenwoud is het ongeveer 20 minuten rijden met de tuktuk.

Wat een bijzondere locatie! We zaten in de familiekamer, wat eigenlijk een hele verdieping is. Vanaf het balkon kijk je uit over de rivier en het dorp. Je hebt echt een kijkje in het dorpsleven in Sri Lanka. Het personeel is heel erg vriendelijk. En natuurlijk dichtbij het regenwoud, dat was een hele bijzondere ervaring! Bij de accommodatie regelen ze een gids voor je.

Die Unterkunft ist fantastisch. Tolle Aussicht, schöner Pool. Baden im Fluss ist ebenfalls möglich.
Das 4 Bettzimmer oben hat 3 riesige Terrassen und ist sehr sehr groß.
Das Essen war super lecker.
Der empfohlene Fahrer der Unterkunft war auch großartig.
Die vorab bestellte Torte war ebenfalls lecker und pünktlich zur Stelle.

Ligger godt til en flod

Best hotel of 6 in our entire trip. The area is amazing, the view is breathtaking. One can swim in the pool or in the river just outside the garden. The staff is extremely friendly, they have a sweet dog, fresh maracujas and lizards, warans and beautiful birds to give you the right jungle vibe. The water is warm, WiFi sometimes a little shaky but overall good. We will definitely come again!

Het hartelijke en vriendelijke ontvangst. Het uitzicht op de rivier was super! Een mooie rustige locatie dicht bij het regenwoud.

位于大自然内，周围是森林和溪流，环境优美。二楼房间的三面阳台可以360度观赏这些景色。而且阳台上的吊床和躺椅等设施非常舒服。住宿的工作人员非常热情和友好。早餐丰盛，晚餐价格实惠。

Loved the location, outside space was amazing for relaxing, swimming in the pool and in the river.
Family room is very big with lots of space.
Food was yummy they were really good catering to our tastes.

Prachtig grote ruimte, zowel binnen als buiten

The location is stunning - right on the river and surrounded by jungle. We went for a dip in the river in the morning which was fabulous. The property has a rustic charm with lots of swinging chairs. Dinner and breakfast were simple but OK.

Amazing location, the views are out of this world! Highly recommend a stay in this place. Huge room, which was really clean and fabulous staff!

We had a wonderful experience staying at Dolagawa, nestled in the heart of the rainforest. The property is surrounded by lush tea fields, a serene stream, and an abundance of nature, making it the perfect getaway for relaxation and tranquility.

The family room we stayed in was comfortable and well-suited for our needs. The atmosphere was peaceful, allowing us to truly unwind and enjoy the natural beauty around us.

One of the highlights of our stay was the delicious home-cooked meals—fresh, flavorful, and prepared with care. The hospitality was exceptional, with friendly staff and a welcoming owner who made sure we felt at home throughout our visit.

If you’re looking for a place to relax and reconnect with nature, Dolagawa is the ideal retreat. Highly recommended!

This is fantastic place in the middle of jungle. You can swim in the river just in front of it. We had big, spacy appartment on a first floor. The view from tarrace is breath taking. Silence, nature, everything. And very polite and helpful stuff.

This was the best stay we had in all our time in Sri Lanka. Dolagawa Eco Resort is in a very rural location (but still easily accessible with a car/tuktuk driver and google maps) and is completely surrounded by nature. We were lucky enough to have the place to ourselves when we stayed, so a very peaceful and serene environment! The hosts were on hand when required and served us with Sri Lankan tea, great breakfasts and other good value delicious food. The vegetarian curry was excellent and well presented. The hosts also helped arrange our trip to Sinharaja Rainforest with a knowledgeable local guide. There are no shops, banks or restaurants locally but that is the alure of this place! The view from our balcony, overlooking the pool, forest clad river and waterfalls was amazing, and just a short walk down to explore and swim! At check out, our hosts ensured our easy onward journey by giving us a lift to the local town (Deniyaya) where tuktuks, taxi's and busses can be easily found.
10/10 for everything.
