Gorgeous hotel
Pros:

I wish we could have stayed longer. The staff here,especially Cheryl the concierge, was wonderful. She helped us so much with organising our tour out to the Grottoes. The room was beautifully appointed with lots of lovely decor. The breakfast was excellent with lots of choices, both Western style and Chinese, to be found in a beautiful setting.

Great base to explore Dunhuang.
Pros:

Friendly staff. Clean, good wifi. Great location near the night market. Breakfast was excellent in tented area in garden.

Good position, ok for one night
Pros:

Great position, it is possible to walk to the famous night market of Dunhuang, the size of the room exceeded my expectations

Very nice and we fully enjoyed it!
Pros:

Very nice, well equipped and spacious room. The breakfast in the garden was pleasant, with simple but delicious dishes. There was a very sophisticated souvenir shop cum cafe in the hotel, and an art gallery, both of which we enjoyed spending time in. It was really conveniently located, close to the night market, so we walked around at night, which was cool enough for enjoying the market on the street.

Cons:

The staff at the reception spoke limited English but it was the case for almost everywhere in the city, so I wouldn’t blame them. We could communicate with the help of translator apps so no problem. There was a simple location map for most tourist destinations displayed on the wall and the rest was up to the baidu map on my mobile, which was manageable.

Perfect location for a short stay in Dunhuang city.
Pros:

excellent location and good breakfast. Beautiful lobby with art gallery and a large gift shop. The room is clean too.

Cons:

The room is basic without a fridge, and the wifi is hard to set up. It is better to have a basic Dunhuang city map and simple tourist info. When asked for a map, i was told by the staff to look at a TV screen in the lobby.
