Très bonne étape
Pros:

Joli chambre dans un lotissement au calme, avec piscine

C’est une étape, donc en dehors des émeus, il n’y avait rien à voir

Pros:

Die geräumige Campingküche ist komplett mit Insektenschutzgittern ausgestattet und ist der einzige Ort, wo man sich außerhalb des Zimmers geschützt vor Fliegen (tagsüber) und Moskitos und Motten (nach Sonnenuntergang) aufhalten kann.

Cons:

Das erste Zimmer lag direkt an der Strasse, auf Nachfrage gab uns die freundliche Dame an der Rezeption ein anderes Zimmer. Dieses Zimmer war leider voller Moskitos, so dass wir erst einmal auf die "Jagd" gehen mussten. Auch vermitteln die Bilder auf der Website den Eindruck, dass die Zimmer einen vorgelagerten Balkon haben. Das ist leider ein Irrtum, es gibt keine Sitzmöglichkeit vor dem Zimmer. Auch das Pub neben der Tankstelle macht keinen einladenden Eindruck. Wir hätten besser gleich bis Marla weiterfahren sollen.

Pros:

The place felt secure, with convenient parking right in front of the room. Although a bit outdated, the accommodation was clean and comfortable enough for an overnight stay. Having a shop, petrol station, bar, and somewhere to eat on-site was really handy, especially when travelling through the Outback. There was also a swimming pool, although we didn’t get a chance to use it as we arrived late. The complimentary bottled water in the room was a nice bonus!

Cons:

Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi didn’t work in our room, and the showerhead was one big limescale buildup. I understand that hard water is common in the region, but we stayed at other places in the Outback where it wasn’t nearly as noticeable. The room could also benefit from a little updating, and having a microwave would make the stay even more convenient.

Ordinary but enough for one night to rest your head
Pros:

Quiet - from truck/highway noise, secure, easy access, right behind roadhouse, air conditioning was good.

Cons:

Very dated leaky bathroom, could hear every footstep from neighbouring rooms as the floor creaked. I was ignored when I came through to reception, they were in a team meeting - would’ve probably acknowledged the customer right away and said that they wouldn’t be a minute… just a thought.

Not worthy the name resort but convinient on your way to Alice Springs
Pros:

Conveniently located between Kings Canyon and Alice Springs

Cons:

Quite shabby, fenced in and plenty of activity outside the fence. Lots of people asking for money and alkohol outside the reception. Good that you have a code to get in to the property.

Somewhere to rest as we couldn't safely drive further.
Pros:

The outback feel.

Cons:

The place could use some maintenance and modernisation. The location should not be an excuse for old facilities and as there seems to be no other accommodation in the area, it feels like a case of take it or leave it. The grounds seem untended and in need of some care.We thought it could be better.

Pros:

The customer service was great and all the people who worked there were nice and kind.

Cons:

The pool was a bit murkey/cloudy.
