A good place to stop
Pros:

Our room was spacious and clean. Onsite were petrol station, shop and tavern so very convenient. Shower was strong and hot. The bed was good.

Cons:

It was cold in the room at night, even with the heater on. The bathroom was colder. Thank goodness for the hot shower.

Comfy haven
Pros:

Comfy bed… motel room very clean and appears to have been modernised in recent times… was able to do my laundry (washing machine and dryer as well as well as a clothes line. Shop, petrol and bar/restaurant very close by.

It was adequate, enjoyed seeing the rescue animals.
Pros:

Great location, loved the 'idea' of the resort - has an animal sanctuary, a lovely mural, nice diner. The dinner at the diner was very fresh and good value, the service was excellent. Loved the viewing platform for viewing the sunset.

Cons:

Things are a bit run down, many areas roped off due to safety issues walking around the buildings. All of this can be updated and the intension of the resort will be restored.
Unfortunately we had a faulty heater and were cold during the night.
