Very nice quiet hotel with parking and bar and restaurant for the best food around imo
It was nice food great location with hot tub
Needs stair gates if you have kids staying @ night
Beautiful building and decor, friendly staff, dog friendly, hot tub was a bonus, dinner and breakfast delicious and had ev charge. Great location to explore Grasmere…just love the Lake District
It was cost and classic
Nothing really but found it odd that you can take a dog but have to sit in a carpeted lounge for breakfast rather than in the large breakfast room
We would much preferred to have been able to sit in the breakfast room
Could they have a few tables in the main breakfast room for dogs
Location is fantastic, great sleep area but also a separate chill area
Nothing
Nice breakfast
All ok
Breakfast
Cost
Comfy bed
Good tv
Loved that the bathroom had shampoos and bubble bath, I had a great bath
Breakfast room service for just 3 quid meant I could get ready so easily in the morning
Loved the book with hotel info in the room
Breakfast was a bit bland and dry
Blankets and house coats where dry and rough
great location good value for money
nothing
Very well appointed rooms and bathrooms. Extremely comfortable beds.
Fabulous decor in main lounge like an old manor house but very welcoming. Not to mention excellent location
From a personal point of view I found the defuser with reeds too over powering for the room size.
Shame the restaurant wasn't open a little later
But really nothing negative to say
Breakfast was good loads of choice, comfy big bed.
Supposed to be a Tweed Suites cosy room but very cold room, had to ask for heaters. Log burners in breakfast room and lounge downstairs but never alight, so couldnt warm up there. No lighting outside to show driveway when walking to hotel.
Lovely breakfast
Our room we paid £190 for 1 night including breakfast & there was no fridge , last time we came we had a complimentary drink in our room .
Very overpriced
great place great food
Location and great bar
Unfortunately the rest of the lodge doesn’t match up to bar it has a very different atmosphere and dynamic. We took our little dog but felt a bit limited as to where could sit to relax as dogs aren’t allowed in the lounge area or the bar restaurant.
This is our second visit to stay at Tweedies. It is in a lovely location, nice comfortable rooms and very good breakfast.
We were allocated a dog friendly room, although we didn’t have a dog.
The room was very nice and clean, but i feel dog friendly rooms should only be for guests with dogs.
Fantastic place!!
