The host was very friendly and helpful. I was arriving late and he made sure that I checked in ok. The room was spacious and clean, big nice bathroom. It is a bit outdated but tasteful and comfortable. Parking right upfront. Great location.

A beautiful setting through the mountains and in a comfortable distance for the Bibao ferry. The evening meal was simple but well cooked meals. The staff were helpful and friendly

Nice hotel, a good location and easy to find. We walked into the village (10 minutes easy walk) it has a few bars, all very welcoming.

Easy to find as Guenes is a small place. The hotel is less than an hour to the Bilbao Port which is why we chose it and you can park your car safely over night in the provided car park. The staff member was exceptional as it appeared he does everything, booked us in, bar man, waiter, we used our translate app to communicate as we don’t speak Spanish. The bedroom was clean and comfy adequate only for one night. Breakfast was simple for 4 euros 50 cents this being continental. Access to Bilbao city if you didn’t want to use your car, bus stop outside the hotel and train station within walking distance.

The location and the stuff were excellent. It’s in the middle of a national park and 20min from Bilbao. Quiet location with lots of nature around

I stayed before because of the location: quiet and near Bilbao. Service in the restaurant at dinner time is excellent: the waitress is very polite and speaks English too, charming)

Quiet, rural, bus stop to Bilbao right at the hotel. Helpful staff, clean and comfortable room with refrigerator, and spacious accommodation with really comfortable beds.

Liked size of room, views and quiet environment. Easy access to downtown and excellent, convenient public transport. Also liked free parking, and the elevator to our room.

It is a basic hotel but the people were lovely and rhetorical rooms were well appointed. My work was based in Zalla so it was a little ways out but I will stay here again!

Great location with magnificent views, next door to Basque Biodesign Centre.
The room was very large with extra living room and comfortable bathroom. The room had a heater.
I only missed tea/coffee making facilties in the room and hair conditioner.
Hotel restaurant was convenient too, as there aren't any other places to eat nearby.

This is a very local hotel, it's ideal for a last night before the bilbao ferry, the scenery is amazing, the staff and the owner were so friendly and welcoming, the rooms are basic, but comfortable and with a large portable heater, breakfast was buffet and inexpensive, the evening meal was reeal spanish fare.
My motorcycle was very safe in the open car park.
