Review of AKKA Hotels Suites Taksim

I stayed at this hotel from December 27th to January 1st, and unfortunately my experience was extremely disappointing. Upon arrival, we paid a 100 EUR deposit, which the hotel assured us would be refunded after check-out. However, we have still not received our money.

We contacted the hotel several times through different channels. The only response we received was a message claiming that our bank was withholding the amount — something our bank clearly confirmed was not true. Since then, the hotel has completely stopped responding, and the deposit has still not been returned.

This kind of behavior feels unprofessional and dishonest. For the 100 EUR deposit alone, we could easily have booked a much better hotel. I want to warn other travelers: be very careful. In our experience, this felt like a way to take extra money from guests.

I cannot recommend staying here

The only small inconvenience was that the breakfast restaurant is located in a nearby building. Since it was raining during our stay, we had to walk a short distance to have breakfast, which was slightly uncomfortable. However, this did not take away from the overall positive experience.
Also the entrance in hotel has some steps inside to enter to reception and to the floor where are the lifts but we had help from the hotel staff with our luggage's.

I had trouble getting there because the hotel is located in a difficult area for cars to reach the entrance, and you need to pull your luggage inside the hotel, which is inconvenient.

Bauarbeiten die sehr laut waren, sehr negativ.

Der Taxifahrer konnte das Hotel nicht direkt anfahren, da es sehr versteckt war.

Еда на завтрак не разнообразная, выбора мало совсем. Сотрудники за мини бар взяли больше чем нужно, потом чек на почту отправили на меньшу сумму. Если заранен хотите выселится, миллион причин найдут чтобы сразу вам чек не выдать за мини бар, больше сумму взяли, как мы уехали через неделю отравили за меньшую, к сожалению в этом городе многие обманывают.

Бронируя отель, на фото были представлены фотографии номера с мансардными окнами - выглядело светло и просторно, но когда нам показали номер вживую был шок, он находился в полуподвальном помещении, окна выходили на несколько технических наружных блоков кондиционера и черную лестницу, мало того, что они шумели, так в этом уличном техническом помещении живут кошки и запах был ужасный! В целом отель хороший, но вот с номером может не повезти, остался неприятный осадок

P.s мы просили поменять номер, но нам так этого и не сделали за 4 дня, хотя судя по букингу они были в наличии
