Großartigste Unterkunft auf Sansibar!
Pros:

Die Villa Juliana in Jambiani war ohne Zweifel die beeindruckendste Unterkunft unserer gesamten 2-wöchigen Sansibar-Reise – und eine der außergewöhnlichsten Unterkünfte, die wir je erlebt haben.

Gelegen im wunderschönen Jambiani mit seinen starken Gezeiten, türkisblauem Wasser und endlosen weißen Sandstränden, ist die Lage bereits ein Highlight für sich. Wir hatten die Ocean Suite – ein absoluter Traum.

Die Suite bietet eine riesige Glasfront mit direktem Blick auf einen liebevoll angelegten Palmen-Garten und das Meer, das keine 20 Meter entfernt liegt. Nachts bei Flut hört man das beruhigende Rauschen der Wellen – ein echtes Naturerlebnis.

Was die Villa Juliana aber wirklich besonders macht, ist die Atmosphäre. Es fühlt sich an wie Zuhause – oder eher wie ein Aufenthalt bei sehr, sehr guten Freunden. Man wird unglaublich herzlich empfangen, bekommt alles in Ruhe erklärt, und das Team ist jederzeit da, wenn man etwas braucht.

Die Anlage selbst ist traumhaft gestaltet: ein geschützter Garten mit Palmen, vielen Pflanzen, einem wunderschönen Pool und ausreichend Sonnenliegen mit Schattenplätzen. Dazu eine kleine Bar mit sehr fairen Preisen, die wir sogar so gut fanden, dass wir lieber dort geblieben sind, um das Team zu unterstützen, statt auswärts zu essen.

Alles wirkt persönlich, herzlich und echt.

Für uns waren es die schönsten drei Tage der gesamten Reise. Kein Hotel in 45 bereisten Ländern hat bei uns einen so starken Eindruck hinterlassen.

Ein Ort zum Ankommen, Wohlfühlen und Bleiben wollen. Einfach ein Zuhause auf Sansibar.

Cons:

Die Unterkunft wird oft für Dinge kritisiert wie fehlende Fenster, Geräusche einer nahen Moschee oder das Fehlen eines Föhns. Ja, das stimmt teilweise – aber die Realität ist eine andere. Die Moschee ist kaum wahrnehmbar, und selbst der Gebetsruf wird eher zu einem authentischen Teil der Umgebung als zu einer Störung. Die offene Bauweise ohne klassische Fenster sorgt dafür, dass man die Natur jederzeit spürt – für uns war das eher wie Schlafen unter freiem Himmel, nur geschützt im großen Bett unter einem Moskitonetz.

Auch die fehlende Klimaanlage oder ein Föhn werden durch ein nachhaltiges Konzept ausgeglichen – der Strom wird vollständig über Solarenergie erzeugt. Und ehrlich gesagt: Hier interessiert niemanden, wie du aussiehst, sondern wer du bist.

Wunderschönes kleines Hotel direkt am Strand
Pros:

Wunderschönes Hotel, direkt am feinen weißen Strand, sehr gepflegte Anlage mit tollem Pool mit Blick aufs Meer. Die Zimmer sind mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Das Personal ist super freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir durften am Abreisetag sogar noch bis 15 Uhr im Zimmer bleiben (ohne Aufpreis). Zum Frühstück gibt es alles was das Herz begehrt (brot, Eier in verschiedenen Variationen, Pancakes, frisches Obst etc.), sodass man mehr als satt wird :) wer eine schöne ruhige Unterkunft zum entspannen sucht, ist hier genau richtig.

Das Hotel ist liebenswert mit vielen schönen Details gestaltet, wunderschönes Zimmer mit Meerblick, sehr gutes Essen im hoteleigenen Restaurant, sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Nahmen sogar auf glutenfreies Essen Rücksicht. Absolut empfrhlenswert.

Un bout de paradis !

Voilà une résidence à dimension familiale qui est tout simplement extraordinaire ! L’endroit est idyllique,la plage magnifique,les chambres,les repas,le personnel,tout était plus que parfait. On a adoré et si l’on devait revenir à zanzibar,on y retournerait sans la moindre hésitation ! Merci à toute l’équipe pour votre gentillesse et vos magnifiques sourires.

Peaceful paradise
Pros:

Beautiful location with breathtaking beach views. Room was very spacious and modern.
Villa Juliana is very quiet and peaceful; the perfect place for me to unwind.

Cons:

No A/C in the room, but only a fan. Not a big issue, because the nice sea breeze was cooling me off at night.

la vue incroyable avec une décoration soignées ( des fleurs fraîches remis régulièrement)
la chambre parfaite avec tout le nécessaire
Je recommande à 100% cette hôtel !

Cons:

Nous avons réservé une excursion avec l’hôtel à jozani forest et nous avons payée 70$ pour voir des fourmis rouges ainsi que des singes nourris pour rester près de la boutique de souvenir ( le guide nous a dit on peu marcher 7km sans en voir un , alors qu’il sont directement nourris à 200m du départ de la balade ) je ne recommande pas mais c’est indépendant de l’hôtel
