Blue Moon Resort

Our stay at Blue Moon Resort exceeded all our expectations. We couldn't have chosen a better place for our honeymoon.
We booked 4 nights, spending the first 2 nights in a Superior King Room and, before our arrival, upgraded the last 2 nights to the Private Pool Suite. Both accommodations were exceptional. The Superior King Room was spacious, spotless, with a very comfortable bed, a large bathroom, and a lovely terrace overlooking the resort. The Private Pool Suite was absolutely stunning—luxurious, beautifully designed, and the large private pool with its breathtaking view made our honeymoon even more special.
The resort is beautiful, with two large swimming pools, direct access to a magnificent beach, and a peaceful atmosphere. Although slightly secluded, it's the perfect place to relax and disconnect. Breakfast was included and served à la carte with several delicious options, and we also enjoyed many lunches and dinners at the hotel restaurant, where the food was always excellent with plenty of choices.
What truly made our stay unforgettable was the incredible staff. Everyone was warm, welcoming, always smiling, and attentive to every detail. A special thank you to the manager, Agness, Claudia, Rahima, and Hamadi Rachid for making our honeymoon so memorable. Your kindness and hospitality meant so much to us.
The cleanliness was outstanding, with housekeeping checking on us every day, sometimes twice a day, to ensure everything was perfect.
Thank you for giving us unforgettable memories. If we ever return to Zanzibar, Blue Moon Resort will definitely be our first choice. We recommend this hotel with complete confidence!

The property has so much potential.The place looks stunning but our stay wasn’t pleasant.It was rather stressful

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour dans cet hôtel. La nourriture était absolument délicieuse, et tout était impeccable. Cet endroit est un véritable havre de paix et de détente, contrairement à n'importe où ailleurs que nous ayons jamais connu.

En ce qui est du personnel, nous ne savons même pas comment vous remercier assez. Vous nous avez fait preuve d'une telle gentillesse, d'une telle patience et d'une telle générosité que nous n'oublierons jamais.

Amadi, merci pour votre accueil chaleureux et pour avoir rendu notre séjour si spécial en le remplissant de rires, d'expériences culturelles et de merveilleuses découvertes.

Agness, merci aussi pour votre bonne humeur constante, votre gentillesse exceptionnelle et votre hospitalité chaleureuse chaque jour.

This is an absolutely stunning property. There are only 12 rooms in this resort which was surprising but what a beautiful resort it is… There is so much to love about it, be it the gorgeous large bedroom and bathroom, and private large pool inside the villa, or the different areas for relaxing, cosy loungers or beds in the pool, or take a walk on relax outside on the pier with private beds.. stunning views… it’s hard to pin down any one thing as the entire property is exceptional. The staff went out their way, which added positively to the experience.

It’s a little heaven on earth!!

My favourite hotel yet, the staff are amazing and scenery is unreal. The food and cocktails are good too. You can walk along the bridge on the beach to an infinity pool and the overall vibe of the hotel was a surreal experience. We wanted to go back there after checking in to another hotel for our last couple of days in Jambiani.

Groot resort met niet al teveel huisjes, waardoor het lekker rustig blijft binnen het resort. Perfect om bij te komen van alle drukte! Ook qua locatie goede ligging voor bijv activiteiten.
Hiernaast heerlijk eten!!! Elk gerecht smaakte voortreffelijk. Personeel was ook geweldig en behulpzaam op alle fronten. Met name Costa, Agnes en Hamad onze complimenten!!

The rooms were amazing, the size, bedding, everything about it

The stuff was welcoming and always ready to help. They took us for a resort tour and went above and beyond for excursions that took place out of the resort. Very clean amenities. Will be happy to come back.

The resort was beautiful, the breakfast was to die for and the staff was very friendly. Martha, Justice, Costa, Rahema and Susan and Lulu from housekeeping made our stay extra special as we were celebrating our anniversary. The staff went the extra mile and our celebration unforgettable.
Compliments to the chefs because all meals were delicious.

This is our third time staying at this wonderful hotel, and once again, we are incredibly happy with our choice. There is a special feeling of returning to a place that truly feels like a second home.

The service here continues to be outstanding. We want to express our heartfelt thanks to Agnes and Shadrack, whose attention to detail and polite, professional approach made us feel so well cared for throughout our stay. We were also highly impressed by Costa; having a waiter who is multilingual, including being fluent in French, adds such a sophisticated and welcoming touch to the dining experience.

Speaking of dining, a huge thank you goes to Chef Mohamed and his entire team. The food was absolutely delicious and consistently high-quality—every meal was a culinary delight.

For those looking for fun, the hotel has great activities right on-site. We had a blast on the jet skis; it’s a fantastic way to enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

The overall atmosphere of the hotel remains warm, friendly, and wonderfully family-oriented. It is the perfect place for a relaxing and joyful getaway. We are already looking forward to our fourth visit!

L’endroit est incroyable, on se sent vraiment en paix , les chambres sont très jolies et très propres et le personnel… que dire exceptionnel vraiment au petit soins nous avons passer un merveilleux et en parti grâce à eux, merci à Justice, Agnès, Costa, Martha, Rehema pour leur accueil, l’incroyable service et leur professionnalisme sans oublier Joseph et ses cocktails excellent!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel and can’t recommend it enough. From the moment we arrived, everything felt warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully arranged.

A special thank you to the receptionist Teddy, whose kindness and professionalism made our check-in smooth and memorable. We were pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade, and it truly made our stay even more comfortable and special.

The bar experience deserves its own praise — the cocktails prepared by Saitoti und Jozef were simply the best we’ve ever had. Not only were they delicious, but also beautifully and creatively presented, making each drink feel like a little work of art.

We would also like to highlight the lovely waiters, Rehema and Costa, who were always friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring. Their positive energy and warm smiles added so much to our experience.

Overall, this hotel exceeded all expectations. The service, atmosphere, and attention to detail made our stay unforgettable. We will definitely be back!
