Blue Moon Resort

The resort was beautiful, the breakfast was to die for and the staff was very friendly. Martha, Justice, Costa, Rahema and Susan and Lulu from housekeeping made our stay extra special as we were celebrating our anniversary. The staff went the extra mile and our celebration unforgettable.

This is our third time staying at this wonderful hotel, and once again, we are incredibly happy with our choice. There is a special feeling of returning to a place that truly feels like a second home.

The service here continues to be outstanding. We want to express our heartfelt thanks to Agnes and Shadrack, whose attention to detail and polite, professional approach made us feel so well cared for throughout our stay. We were also highly impressed by Costa; having a waiter who is multilingual, including being fluent in French, adds such a sophisticated and welcoming touch to the dining experience.

Speaking of dining, a huge thank you goes to Chef Mohamed and his entire team. The food was absolutely delicious and consistently high-quality—every meal was a culinary delight.

For those looking for fun, the hotel has great activities right on-site. We had a blast on the jet skis; it’s a fantastic way to enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

The overall atmosphere of the hotel remains warm, friendly, and wonderfully family-oriented. It is the perfect place for a relaxing and joyful getaway. We are already looking forward to our fourth visit!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel and can’t recommend it enough. From the moment we arrived, everything felt warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully arranged.

A special thank you to the receptionist Teddy, whose kindness and professionalism made our check-in smooth and memorable. We were pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade, and it truly made our stay even more comfortable and special.

The bar experience deserves its own praise — the cocktails prepared by Saitoti und Jozef were simply the best we’ve ever had. Not only were they delicious, but also beautifully and creatively presented, making each drink feel like a little work of art.

We would also like to highlight the lovely waiters, Rehema and Costa, who were always friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring. Their positive energy and warm smiles added so much to our experience.

Overall, this hotel exceeded all expectations. The service, atmosphere, and attention to detail made our stay unforgettable. We will definitely be back!

Tout d’abord, merci pour ce séjour inoubliable, rempli de souvenirs que nous n’oublierons jamais. Nous avons passé des jours merveilleux dans un cadre paradisiaque.
Si je peux me permettre, la véritable cerise sur le gâteau reste le personnel : d’une gentillesse, d’une attention et d’une bienveillance exceptionnelles, ils vous font vous sentir comme chez vous dès votre arrivée. Un grand merci à Costa, Justice, Agness, Teddy, Shedrack, Rehma et Joseph pour leur travail remarquable.

It was serene, peaceful and beautiful. Honestly the best hotel for couples in Zanzibar. The food was amazing, the customer service was incredible, massive shoutout to Justice and Costa serving us everyday. The ladies at reception were also incredible. Everyone made our stay there so lovely. I couldn’t recommend this place enough. Everything was so clean and they paid attention to all our needs. The pictures do not do this place justice at all, it is beautiful

Our short stay at Blue Moon Resort in Jambiani, Zanzibar was absolutely wonderful. The resort is incredibly beautiful, peaceful, and the perfect place to relax and unwind.
What truly made our stay special was the amazing team—Joseph, Justice, Teddy, Martha, and Rehema—who were all so kind, attentive, and welcoming. Their hospitality made us feel right at home.
A very special thank you to Madam Anna, who went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. She even took time out of her day to take photos for us, which meant so much and made our staycation even more memorable.

Virkelig god service - særligt Justice og Erisha gjorde alt for at få os til at føle os velkomne. Altid mødt af godt humør og jokes. En anden kvinde i restauranten var også enormt sød og venlig, men vi fik desværre ikke hendes navn. Vi var på en fisketur, hvor vi fangede en kæmpe kingfish, og hotellet lavede et måltid til os med fisken helt gratis.

Love the view, the warmth and kindness of the staff. Especially Agness and Justice, they make you feel like home, Even the owner makes you feel special! Love the deck where you can dine romantically while watching the sunset! There’s a lot of activity to do like jet skiing, sunbathing etc.
