Great hiking weekend getaway 3 hours by train and bus from Munich.
Pros:

Pretty hotel in proximity to hiking trails. Awesome breakfast buffet and 5-course dinner. Impressive wellness area with heated indoor pool, two saunas and a steam bath. Most hotel staff very friendly.

Cons:

Conversations with receptionist unpleasant due to his snappy manner.

Very relaxing week In beautiful surroundings with good food and friendly staff
Pros:

Our second visit. Beautiful setting amongst the mountains. Cross country ski loipes directly opposite the hotel. Management very helpful in assisting us to obtain right vehicle documentation (environmental pass) for a trip to Munich. The food was delicious and varied choice each day. our room was warm and spotlessly clean as was the rest of the hotel. We will certainly return.
