Not satisfied. Avoid if possible
Pros:

Nothing - For Heritage, it must be maintained properly like a Heritage Stay.

Cons:

Booked Luxury Deluxe Rooms , but it is not above any Local Lodge Stay. The rooms are no where Luxury , and Heritage , for the price they charge , Hyped and only suitable for a travellers who come for Amenities like Swimming Pool , Disco , Breakfast dinner etc . it is just a group outing Average place , not for some one who is seeking Luxury Heritage Stay . During Booking they did not mention that the Swimming Pool is not functioning ! stayed for 2 nights looking at Pool getting cleaned , when checked in , there was no hot water available , calls were answered with no solution ( engineering is working ) , it was fixed next day morning .

Pros:

The property is very big with a lot of open spaces and is quite peaceful, the location is quite close to the sightseeing points.

Cons:

The buffet service could have been better with respect to the quality and spread. The swimming pools were quite old and dirty.

A tired hotel with good intentions
Pros:

The hotel's well placed in terms of access to the viewing points. The buffet at dinner was good with additional stations with Pani puri and potato chaat. With High Tea consisting of tea and a snacks, and lunch and breakfast all inckuded it is good value for money.

Cons:

Yhe hotel is really tired, and needs a good deep clean and a paint refresh all over. The pool was only a third full of water and needed a good clean.The games room had packs of bottled water stocked in a corner and everything needed dusting and cleaning. Our bedroom fan and air-conditioning unit also needed a really good clean; they were very grimy. One pillowcase was dirty and the towels were threadbare and could.do with replacing.
There was one member of staff on the grounds who welcomed us and showed us the 1700s bungalow on site but all other staff were either silent and/or perfunctory. The man at reception was neither warm nor welcoming

Pros:

Almost nothing....

Cons:

1. The rooms offered under the category of 'deluxe room' was not even a ordinary room.
2. I had booked two deluxe rooms and the rooms I got were different from each other in all aspects. Rooms were dirty, not properly maintained, half of the amenities were non-functional; and front office staff was arrogant.
3. The rooms of the higher category than the ones alloted to me was given at a much discounted to walk-in customer. On the top of this, the walk-in customer was referred by me.
4. Overall property is no more value for money. Usha Askot, a far better hotel than Byke Heritage; is available at almost the same tariff.
5. I had taken all meals plan; the spread and quality of food available was not up to mark. One day, no dessert was offered at lunch...
6. There are irritating insects all over the property and inside rooms as well.

The walking distance from last drop point by e auto i.e Matheran railway station is very far, hotel
Pros:

Nothing is there to like, foods, room cleaning, travel comfort are basic things which it didn't provide great

Cons:

The first rom was offered in dirty condition and after complaining for 3 times they changed the room earlier they were replying no rooms are available.

Not value for money
Pros:

Fantastic property 7 acres

Cons:

-Swimming pool was unclean, could not use it at all. Monkeys were bathing in it.
-Rain dance was closed.
-Bathroom didnt have soap
-Water was not served daily, had to ask for it.
-Poor staffing not so courteous staff managing the dinner, breakfast, no smile, no greetings. Working like zoombies( seems not trained)
