Hadde forventet høyere standard til prisen, men alt i alt fornøyd.

Very tired hotel, the furnishing were very warn. There wasn’t great aircon and the machines were very rusty and dripping water. Our door out to the bath had fallen off its hinge… the breakfasts were also very un generous compared to the other experiences in Sri Lanka. The food overall was not good and very expensive for Sri Lanka.

The location also wasn’t great. right on the main road with minimal restaurants around.

The fact that it was on the beach, that was the only thing

This place is a bad joke. You advertise it as a “boutique” property, but there is absolutely nothing boutique about it.

We booked three nights but decided to leave after just one night, as the conditions are unacceptable.

There are serious issues throughout the property:
. Doors have no proper insulation.
. Visible salt damage and general deterioration across the room.
. Balcony doors are not functioning properly.
. Air conditioning is weak and ineffective.
. Mold is present in the room.
. The bathroom is in very poor condition.
. Cleanliness is lacking (spider webs, dirt).
. The staff is nonchalant: no assistance with luggage and very little consideration during check-in.
. We were also asked to pay in cash.

Another major issue is that external people are allowed on the premises. They use the available facilities and some display inappropriate and disrespectful behavior, which makes guests uncomfortable.

It was impossible to sleep due to the noise, as the property is extremely poorly insulated. This is a critical issue for a hotel located so close to the ocean, where proper sound insulation should be a basic requirement.

The location itself is beautiful, but the hotel does not match its claims. It feels much closer to a 2-star property than to the 5-star level it appears to (self-)assign.

We would have been satisfied with this level of quality at half the price. At the price paid, we can only express our disappointment.

Abbiamo prenotato questo hotel per due notti per la modica cifra di 250 euro a notte per stare in una stanza descritta (con tanto di foto false) come una stanza dove stare tranquilli sulla spiaggia, che si é rivelata una delusione totale, spreco di soldi e soprattutto gli ultimi giorni di vacanza rovinati. Prima di tutto siamo stati costretti a pagare all’arrivo prima ancora di vedere la camera, e in contanti, altrimenti per pagamenti con carta chiedono il 3% in più. La camera non corrisponde minimamente alla descrizione e alle immagini inserite che sono fake. Vendono la camera sulla spiaggia come una camera con una vetrata sul davanti vista mare su spiaggia libera mentre hanno ben deciso di metterelettini e tavolini giusto davanti alla camera’ ovvero a un metro dalla vetrata della stanza!!! Il risultato é che la privacy é totalmente inesistente perché se si apre la tenda é come avere la gente (ospiti dell’hotel ma anche soggetti terzi) che sta nei lettini dalle prime ore dell’alba fino alla sera direttamente in camera. Abbiamo dovuto tenere le tende chiuse h 24 e usare le torce dei telefoni per vedere all’interno della camera perché la camera ha solo due luci da comodino fioche. Abbiamo pagato 250 euro a notte per una camera in spiaggia vista mare per ritrovarci in un bunker. Appena abbiamo visto la stanza abbiamo chiesto che ci venisse cambiata ma ci é stato detto che non era possibile e che l’unica cosa che avrebbero potuto fare era farci uno sconto del 20% a patto che cancellassimo la prenotazione su booking. In poche parole volevano farci cancellare la prenotazione così da evitare di pagare la commissione a Booking (e concederci uno “sconto” pari alla commissione che altrimenti avrebbero pagato) e sopratutto evitare di ricevere una recensione negativa. Ci siamo rifiutati e il risultato é stata una totale assenza di assistenza e disponibilità da parte della struttura.
