Good hotel well placed for metro and beach.
Pros:

Good location close to beach. Lots of bars and cafes near by , but not many shops. Close to metro that goes intoBilbao. Long promenade to walk on and a rough path that takes you to the lighthouse.
The area was having a festival when I was there and the day after there was lots of cleaning activities to keep the area to a good standard.

Cons:

Other than the beach and the walk there is a small old town but not much more. Ideal if you want a beach holiday perhaps with children. The bars are open till late and the general noise does not abate till about 12:00 in the summer.
The hotel itself is good.There are only 6 rooms and a restaurant so quite exclusive. when it was first refurbished you can see it was great boutique hotel. It now needs some updating to maintain the standard it has enjoyed in the past.

Pros:

Beautiful room in colonial house. Very spacious with high ceilings. Lovely balcony overlooking port. Highly recommend a stay here. Staff were so helpful with an early check in and a taxi organised morning of departure.

Cons:

Possible leak in bathroom which results in water on floor after shower.
