If you want a place without pets or looking for something extremely clean, this is it!
Pros:

We were staying in a more upscale hotel in downtown. Problem is that most of the hotels there were pet friendly. As someone who is allergic to cats and dogs, we weren't used to staying in a pet friendly place. This was such a saving grace for us. So clean... this is the only place I would return to.

Pros:

Excellent staff and the room was much bigger than I thought, and the bed is great. Parking was easy and close by, restaurant was very good. Everything was much better than I expected.

Welcoming location for a first time visit to Portland!

Barbara, Nina and staff extra friendly and helpful. Restaurant staff accommodating to quirky diet. Around the corner from beautiful gardens with neighborhood cafes & & shops. Walkable.

Good, basic hotel stay
Pros:

Booked this place because it was a little outside of downtown, had free parking, and the price was very reasonable. It was a good, basic hotel option within walking distance of several restaurants in a cute part of town. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, and the hotel has a very generous checkout time of 12pm. Would stay here again.

Warm fuzzies. Pampered by room.
Pros:

Staff, food, room, free parking in garage, historical neighborhood to stroll through, cool shops nearby. Felt safe.

Cons:

Didn't like having to pay $2 for a trial size tube of toothpaste.
