Wonderful as usual
Pros:

We cannot fault anything at Gara Rock! The accommodation, food, facilities and especially staff are exceptional! We keep coming back and will continue to do so!

Gorgeous stay on the coast - we will be back

Perfect
Pros:

Probably the nicest place I’ve ever stayed! So peaceful and relaxing. Beautiful rooms and stunning views! Food is absolutely amazing. I had a wonderful spa treatment too.

Cons:

The only tiny thing I could think of to improve would be to serve wine by the glass in more than one serve size.

Lovely hotel and staff in perfect location.
Pros:

Fantastic location and beautiful three bedroom suite.

Cons:

There were only five pool loungers in the pool area and no other chairs or seats which seemed far too few for the amount of people wanting to use the spa. The food was good but the menu for such a lovely hotel seemed oddly limited.

Comfortable, stylish and wonderful staff
Pros:

We loved the 3 bed residence that felt like home. So well equipped and comfortable.
The spa area was great- sauna, steam room and pool were clean and quiet. The decor is lovely and I enjoyed the free newspapers and great books dotted about the guest lounge area. So relaxing!

Cons:

Not much! It’s very remote and too far to drive about when staying for just 2 nights.

Pros:

Staff welcoming and friendly.
Stunning location with fabulous views.
Great walks around the coast and to the Salcombe ferry.
We stayed in a two floor residence which had stunning views and exceptional.

Cons:

The location was beautiful however the getting to the location was tedious due to the miles of single track lanes.
No egg cups!

Amazing stay with an upgrade on our room.
Pros:

Amazing property, exactly what we was looking for in a secluded weekend getaway at a luxurious hotel.
Everything was well thought through within the room where a need was always met.
Made my partners 30th birthday that much more special with a room upgrade.
Gara rock truly went above and beyond in terms of catering & welcoming us.

Really excellent stay thank you very much.
Pros:

Excellent breakfast. Great walking and easy to get to Mill Beach and ferry.
Thank you for keeping dogs away from the main eating area!
Staff always ready to help. Changed over duvet was an example.

Cons:

Lifts out of order.
A little weak on evening menu. Same each evening and specials a bit expensive.

Don’t go until they have had the refurb - very tired!
Pros:

Amazing views and location! The food is also really good. The hotel is in the process of being bought and I think it will be lovely once some updates have been done!

Cons:

Not enough staff.
Dirty, old furniture.
Spa not working during the stay.

Stay was nice but the food made the stay
Pros:

Location is amazing.
Room size was great.
The food is amazing worth the costs! The score is high due to the food and not the room.
Breakfast was good, great choice although we were only offered one hot drink.
Lovely local walks.

Cons:

The room was very tired, is in need for a deep clean, paint and fixing up.
Was a little annoyed that the bedroom carpet was wet due to the previous guest spilling an item, not nice when you had to walk in it in the night bare foot! As it was quiet season we were perplex as to why they didn’t move us.
Be sure to book the cinema room ahead as it was fully booked on check in.
Jacuzzi hot tub didn’t work for both days of the stay.
