Not acceptable. Room far too small for 2 beds.
Pros:

Food was ok and staff were friendly

Cons:

Room was tiny and two single beds squeezed into a tiny space- no room for our things. Beds were not next to each other but at opposite ends of the room. The whole arrangement was not acceptable and very claustrophobic

The hotel was in a good location with easy access to the various towns and major roads
Pros:

Breakfast menu had a good selection and was enjoyable. Evening meal was good and portion sizes were also good. The room and bathroom was big enough to accommodate a mobility scooter and walker. The staff were all very helpful.

Everything was good.

Pros:

I have stayed at this place quite a few times and I find the staf very efficient and the rooms are very clean and comfortable with everything you need. It is also very popular with the locals in "Denholm Village". I would thiroroughly recommend it to my family and friends. Regards Linda Joanne Ritson.

Cons:

The only thing I wasn't very keen on was the Traffic out on the Main A68 which is always busy as it is the main "Route" up to the Capital City Edinburgh.

Pros:

Comfortable bed and room, if a bit tight.
Food and drinks excellent as was the service. An attractive and well cared-for building

Cons:

Limited space in the bedroom, and no lift available for people with weak legs - like me. But it is an old hotel....

Great place made even better by great staff.
Pros:

Massive choices of cereals, fruit, pastries, and of course porridge. Best of all, several different cooked breakfasts. All delicious. Evening meals excellent also. The helpful, friendly and efficient staff make the place even better.

Cons:

Car park could have been bigger and because we were on motorcycles we would have liked cctv coverage. Only a very minor niggle.
