Once again, a pleasant enough stay.
Pros:

Very friendly staff - good service, delicious food.

Cons:

Being woken up by creaking ceiling from the floor above late at night and early morning.

Underwhelming for the price.

I have stayed on a few occasions and the staff are lovely.

Cons:

The room this time was really poor, dated, the bathroom and bath in the bedroom were just bizarre. Normally the food is good but this time I had an adequate evening meal, burger and chips but the chips were burnt and the burger bun disintegrated and the breakfast was poor, badly cooked and not up to previous standards which have been quite good,

Comfortable stay in a quiet village location
Pros:

We did not have breakfast because we had an early start.

Cons:

Could get access to the main Hotel in the a.m. to hand key back . We had to go round the back of the building to get to the Main Street .

Unfortunately we only stayed the one night,but enjoyed the time we were there
Pros:

Staff very friendly, rooms were good and meal choice was excellent. I would definitely book again if I was to travel up there again.

A warm welcome in a clean, comfortable, warm traditional village hotel food was excellent thank you

Pros:

Evening meal and breakfast was good, our room was comfortable but was close to the stairs that creaked and also the floor above was very noisy and when rooms above turned on the tap/shower it sounded like it was in our room- staff were very friendly and it was also dog friendly-perhaps we were just unlucky where our room was situated.
