Positiv überrascht, überzeugend überragend gut
Pros:

Wir waren in der Herberge untergebracht (Neubau, alles aus Holz) mit Gemeinschaftsbad auf dem Flur: Absolut sauber, vollständig ausgestattet mit Handtüchern und Bademantel, genug Privatsphäre in den Duschkabinen. Die Gemeinschaftsbäder auch ein Kommunikaitons-Hub! Schön war auch die Teeküche mit Snacks und Vertrauenskasse.
Das gesamte Gebäude hat eine hochwertigen Ausstattung (alles von Bio, nicht Temu)

Cons:

Preis-Leistungsverhältnis sehr schlecht. Jugendherbergeambiente, Minizimmer, Etagenbett, dass kaum zu erklimmen war, Platz zwischen Wand und Leiter sehr sehr eng, Lampe am Bett kaputt, Abstand zur Decke zu klein, Geländer am Etagenbett nicht vorhanden. Essen überteuert, nicht schön angerichtet, glückliches Hähnchen in Panade ertränkt, Salat schon schlapp, Aperol weit entfernt von spritzig - leider war alles insgesamt sehr enttäuschend.

Gerne wieder, aber nur im Haupthaus und wenn es Abendessen gibt.
Pros:

Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr reichhaltig. Der Empfang an der Rezeption überaus freundlich. Das Abendessen am Freitagabend war hervorragend. Das Hotel liegt ganz ruhig in schöner Landschaft. Man kann dort gut parken.

Cons:

Wir waren zuerst in der Herberge untergebracht. Wie Jugendherberge. Das Bett war 1,40 m breit und stand an der Wand. Man kam also nur von einer Seite herein. Der Platz an der Seite des Bettes, die nicht an der Wand war, war sehr schmal. Man konnte sich kaum bewegen. Es gibt ein Herren Bad und ein Damenbart in der Herberge für alle dort übernachtenden Gäste. Das Abendbuffet am Samstagabend für 39 € hat und sehr enttäuscht. Meine Empfehlung: unbedingt im Haupthaus übernachten. Die Eckzimmer sind am schönsten. Das kostet natürlich auch mehr als eine Übernachtung in der Herberge. Am Donnerstagabend gab es kein Abendessen.

Felt like a being in a BIO bubble of heaven

I was expecting more trees at the property, specially as you drive up... could use more vegetation.

I want to come back again - that's all!
Pros:

Very nice location, fresh air and contact with rural animals, very clean single rooms and tasty breakfasts every day. Good deal for singles and families. My room still smelled of fresh wood. I hope to come back here again. A big thank you to the owner.
