Even better than pictured.
Big room/kitchenette. Thoughtfully designed. Great staff. Perfect location between train station and town. Perfectly clean! Even my son’s twin “wee” room was adorable and perfectly outfitted.

I felt very comfortable and well looked after.
Pros:

The location was great - near the station and the village. The owner was really welcoming, kind and helpful, and the studio was beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean.

One of our favourite places.
Pros:

This is our second time staying here, the Merryburn is a very special place for us as it was the first place we took our last dog on holiday 6 years ago. We came this time with our last dog's little sister to see his favourite place that wasn't home. Much like during our first visit and stay here the staff were very accommodating and they even gave us a room in the courtyard where we stayed with our old boy the first time. The room was very comfortable with all the amenities needed and more to make ourselves feel at home.

Thank you Hilary for being so accommodating and making this a very special stay once again.

We thoroughly recommend anyone, young couples, families or doggie parents, visiting Dunkeld and Birnam to stay here.

One of the nicest single rooms I have stayed in for a long time.
Pros:

Everything needed in a small space for a good price. In single rooms you often get the rough end of the deal but this room makes efficient use of the space and is well taken care of.

Cons:

All-round a great room for an excellent price. I could note that the mattress was a bit uncomfortable for a side sleeper but that is likely due to guests sitting on the bed instead of the stool and wearing the springs prematurely but I managed to get more comfortable on the second night. It would not prevent me from booking again.
