Beautiful place! It has everything you need for a great stay. The room with the ocean view and the own balcony with the hammock was definitely a highlight. They also have their own entry to the beach, which is also great

Die Lage ist ruhig. Man kommt zu Fuß schnell nach Mazunte.
Insgesamt wirkt vieles in die Jahre gekommen. Wir hatten schönere Badezimmer für deutlich weniger Geld pro Nacht. Auch die Außenanlage sieht nicht aus als würde sie mit Herz gepflegt werden.
Der Pool war über unseren viertägigen Aufenthalt fast dauerhaft wegen Reinigung geschlossen was wirklich frustrierend war.
Der Ausblick von der Terrasse war das einzig gute.
Schon direkt nach der nicht stornierbaren Buchung hat es begonnen. Ich habe direkt eine WhatsApp Nachricht mit allen möglichen, teils absurden Regeln bekommen, die zu akzeptieren sind. Offenbar handelt es sich mehr um ein Yoga Retreat als eine Posada. Nebenbei wurde noch mitgeteilt, dass es kein Warmwasser gibt. Das ist bei dem Klima zwar kein großes Problem, bei dem Preis aber schon und gehört vor der Buchung auf booking angegeben.
Kurz darauf kam anscheinend eine weitere Nachricht, dass ich die Ankunftszeit angeben soll. Darauf habe ich nicht sofort geantwortet, da ich weder Zeit noch Internetverbindung hatte. Schon kurz darauf kam die nächste Frage nach der Ankunftszeit und dass sie uns nicht ins Quartier lassen werden, wenn wir nicht rasch antworten.
Nachdem der Check in geklärt war, konnten wir das wirklich schöne Zimmer beziehen, in dem eine fürchterliche Hitze herrschte. Die Klimaanlage funktionierte nicht, sondern gab lediglich ein lautes Rattern von sich. Die große Fensterfront konnte man nicht öffnen, sodass auch über Nacht keine Abkühlung möglich war.
Die Klimaanlage wurde zwar am nächsten Tag repariert. Nun kühlte sie zwar ein bisschen, aber das Laute Geräusch war weiterhin da, sodass man die Klimaanlage nicht nutzen konnte, wenn man im Zimmer war. Aber immerhin konnte man das Zimmer etwas abkühlen und danach bei deaktivierten Klimaanlage und offenen Fenstern schlafen...
Der Pool lieferte leider auch keine Abkühlung. Er war während des gesamten Aufenthalts gesperrt, weil grün.
Meine Beschwerden bezüglich dieser Themen zeigten bis auf die erwähnte behelfsmäßige Reparatur der Klimaanlage keinen Effekt. Besonders absurd wurde es, als ich dem Rezeptionisten das laute Geräusch vorführte. Er fragte mich in einem überheblichen Tonfall, ob ich das wirklich als laut empfinde. Meine Antwort musste ich ob des Geräuschpegels fast brüllen...

The terraces of the hotels (not the one on our room) views are great
We had a suite with sea view ... The sea view is very far from the room from the balcony and we booked a "suite" but honestly we should have booked a room higher up, our suite was at the lowest level and as soon as we steped out on the private terrace it smelled like sewage .. the room was ok ... But the bathroom also smelled of aewage.
Beautiful place on the top of a hill between Mazunte and San Agustinillo with a stunning view. My room was simple, yet very comfortable and clean. The small bathroom is integrated in the room, perfect for a solo traveler. Be aware that the rooms aren't super private, since windows and door are just mosquito nets.
There is filtered water provided at all times, the kitchen is functional. The small pool with ocean view and the yoga place are great additions. And there are so many animals to see on the property (iguanas, squirrels, cats...), i loved it!
Since most guests were on a silent retreat during my stay, it wasn't really a place to meet people. If you're looking for a peaceful, quiet getaway, this is your place to be!
Very little. It has a good view of the beach but that means you need to climb up and down a hill everytime you want to get to and from the hostel.
Horrible rooms. Didnt even have windows, just a bug net. You get a curtain for privacy but that doesnt even close all the way. The bedsheets are like sandpaper and they had dodgy stains on them. Also expect all kinds of ants to crawl into your room, it was common for me to find big and small ants all over my room every time I walked in. Also the way into the hostel is a huge pain. You need to walk up a hill which at night gets pitch-black. If you don’t bring a flashlight or phone you are in trouble. To make matters worse, the road is in very poor condition, so you’ll need to shuffle around loose rocks and holes to climb up to the accommodation. Finally, management asks you to pay for the full stay in cash in mexican pesos even though most businesses around the area accept card. All in all a very bad experience and I wish I would’ve just paid a bit extra to stay at a much nicer place.
