Pros:

The hotel is very charming. It's on the hill with beautiful views. The pool is refreshing after the walk back up the steps. There's a lovely cafe at the bottom of the steps. The room and private porch were lovely. There are several steps to take down to the street which some could find challenging but worth the view. Meremijito beach to watch sunset is a five minute walk. The town and rinconcito beach which is amazing for swimming is a ten/15 minute walk over quite a big hill on a dusty road in the dry season. Also not too bad after you get used to it. I loved my stay here.

Cons:

The restaurant only served breakfast and then only on weekends maybe. The did make delicious beverages the whole time.

MAGNIFIQUE
Pros:

Vue magnifique sur le Pacifique. On est au calme mais en 5 minutes on est au "centre ville"
La gentillesse du propriétaire qui nous a offert une chambre pour une nuit ( avec l'assassinat d'un baron de la drogue, nous n'avons pas osé laisser repartir notre fille aînée en ERASMUS sur Mexico, nous n'avions donc pas réservé pour elle de lit)

Cons:

Dommage que nous ne pouvions pas prendre le petit déjeuner sur place, car la vue est paradisiaque mais c'est juste parce que la cuisinière était malade. Nous étions très rapidement en ville donc ce n'est pas problématique.

Amazing stay!
Pros:

OceanoMar is lovely oasis with an amazing view of the sea from the pool. You could spend the day at the pool/loungers. There is a ceiling fan in the room and windows had mosquito nets. The sound of the waves at night are very peaceful. Staff are very friendly and helpful. There are reviews that it's hard to get to the hotel via 'very steep treacherous' steps. However, we did not find this to be the case. It is also a short walk to a beach and very close to the viewpoint.

El conjunto del hotel en el paisaje me pareció hermoso. Se desarrolla por terrazas y las habitaciones tienen mucha privacidad. No está pegado al mar pero llega perfecto el sonido de las olas, además se llega caminando muy rápido. La vista es hermosa.

Cons:

No me disgustó, porque me pareció bien para hacer ejercicio, pero la caminata al pueblo es algo cansada. Mucha pendiente y es pesado en el calor. Algo que a ciertas personas les gustará considerar.

La vista increíble de la piscina

Cons:

Debería haber mas señalamientos donde dejar el auto ya que subí pero el camino incluso para llegar es poquito el camino pero de terraceria, definitivamente hace falta aire acondicionado en el cuarto y que el baño tenga puerta, si es privado pero que este abierto no me encanto.

Pros:

Het uitzicht was prachtig! Lekker zwembad. De kamer was ruim. En het strand heel dichtbij. De lieve mensen. En het heerlijke ontbijt; ga voor de chilaquiles. Wij hadden graag langer gebleven.

Cons:

Niks. Al kunnen er wel beestjes in je kamer komen, daar hadden wij geen last van.;)

Cons:

Antes de ir saber que hay bastantes escaleras para acceder a las habitaciones. Estaría bien disponer de aire acondicionado.

Amazing stay, highly recommend
Pros:

The view from the pool was absolutely stunning, we couldn't believe it! Our room was also incredibly spacious and had a view looking right over the pool and beach. The staff were sweet and the breakfast in the hotel restaurant was delicious! The walk to the main town/village is quite steep (10 mins or so) but that was fine for us. Easy to access Punta Cometa too via a back route. Would highly recommend and wish we stayed longer - it all exceeded our expectations given the price!

Cons:

Some people said the pool could use a repaint which is true but is such a minor thing and the pool is still so lovely irrespective of that! Also note that they don't have a card machine so you need to pay via cash or bank transfer
