Cosy and quaint hotel in the Scottish Borders
Pros:

A very quaint and charming hotel with homely features. The beds are comfortable and everything I needed was available- tea and coffee, biscuits, clean towels. The staff made me a cooked breakfast which was superb. The hotel is about 5 minutes drive from Borders General Hospital. Overall, it’s clean, well kept and more. I recommend this hotel.

Great value, with very friendly staff.
Pros:

I had a one night stay. The location is next to the main square in the beautiful town of Melrose.
I don't eat breakfast so they made me a packed lunched for the trip home, which was such a nice touch.
The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.
Despite being above a pub it was very quiet in the room.

Super family run hotel! Met all our needs and more!!
Pros:

Super family run hotel!! Restaurant is most excellent. Just down from the start of St. Cuthbert’s Pilgrimage trail. Owners prepared a take away lunch at our request in lieu of the included breakfast. Room was very clean and comfortable.

had we paid £60 we would have said" you get what you pay for" but at £130 it was grossly over priced
