Pros:

The location of this is amazing, you step out of the back garden and you are right on the beach. Some of the rooms look out over the ocean as well. We stayed here twice - at the beginning and the end of our tour - and they kindly let us store some stuff there. Don't stay here if you are expecting everything to be spotless and work like clockwork, but this is a fab place to stay on a budget. The rooms are clean, the showers hot and you get mosquito nets over your beds.

Cons:

The people we could talk to were friendly and all the written communication was fine, but not everyone spoke good English once there.

Solides Ankommen in Sri Lanka
Pros:

Die Lage des Hotels, schnell erreichbar vom Flughafen und direkt am Strand war perfekt für die ersten Zwei Nächte unserer Sri Lanka Reise. Hier konnte man toll ankommen. Toll ist auch, dass jedes der oberen Zimmer seinen privaten Balkon hat.
Das traditionelle Frühstück mit Hoppers, Curry und Coco Sambal war wirklich lecker! Alternativ konnte man Toast mit Sri Lankanischer Marmelade wählen. Der Schattige Garten direkt am Hotel mit Strand Zugang ist super zum Entspannen, leider nerven aber die vielen Krähen mit ihrem Krächzen.

Cons:

Das Hotel an sich ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Für 1-2 Übernachtungen reicht es aber völlig aus. Beim nicht inbegriffenen Frühstück kostet alles extra (Obst, Saft...), das wird dann doch schnell etwas teuer für das was es letztendlich ist.
Die Gastgeber waren freundlich wenn wir etwas gefragt haben, aber auch eben nur da und der Chef der gut Englisch spricht war leider selten anwesend, sodass wir die für Sri Lanka übliche Gastfreundschaft hier nicht hatten.

Pros:

La vista dalla stanza era ottima.

Cons:

La struttura è in decadenza e sporca, si vede che non viene tenuta bene da tempo. Dalle stanze al giardino è completamente lasciata andare.

Simple place, close to airport and right on the beach with a lot of good restaurants at short distance walks
Pros:

Room beach and ocean view and the sound of the waves all night long

Parfait pour ce dont j'avais besoin :) L'espoir de pouvoir y retourner.
Pros:

La chambre à coucher et le balcon donnant sur la mer ... être bercée par le bruits des vagues ... avec le chant des oiseaux nichés dans les arbres ... la possibilité d'aller directement sur la plage, marcher au bord de l'eau sans même avoir besoin de se chausser ... pour moi, c'est du luxe !

Had a very pleasant stay... good location... good service.... Udeya the hostess was very friendly and always wore a smile.... the rooms were spacious and had all the necessary facilities. Would recommend to anyone wanting a pleasant stay for a night at Negombo.

Es war extrem gemütlich, der Zugang zum Strand praktisch, gutes Essen und die Besitzer gut in der Beratung.

Cons:

Mich störte es nicht, aber ja, es ist schon alles ein bißchen älter, viele Insekten im Zimmer (hatte die Villa gebucht)

Gastvriendelijk tot rust komen aan het strand.
Pros:

De ligging aan het strand en op loopafstand van leuke restaurants. Een korte tutkukrit (5min) van de vismarkt, Dutch fort etc.. echt een fijne plek.
Ook was Milan een zeer behulpzame host die je helpt met alles organiseren wat je nodig hebt. We raden deze plek 100% aan!

Super Unterkunft für ein paar Tage, dicht am Flughafen.
Pros:

Der Bertreiber ist sehr herzlich. Wir waren mit dem Hotel und Zimmer sehr zufrieden.
Frühstück fanden wir gut.
Auf dem Balkon hatte man Blick aufs Meer und Abends hörte man das Meeresrauschen.
Für ein paar Nächte nach, bzw. vor dem Flug absolut zu empfehlen.
Preis- Leistung absolut passend.
