Friendly & helpful staff, good terrace at the top for views of Jodhpur & the Fort
Air conditioning fan sounded like an aircraft taking off. But it had to stay on due to the heat
Ran by a family who made me feel like I was at home. Very nice people, good location and good price for facilities.
Positives: family run, who are lovely and very helpful. I liked the style of the room. The air con was very good, hot water/shower, fridge was great. Wifi was good. After check in, the sink was badly leaking over the bathroom floor, which they did fix, but took 2hrs and we just wanted to relax after a long journey.
Negatives: zero soundproofing, very noisy room. You hear everything from the noisy street, families talking loudly outside until 1am. Loud drums nearby at night. Lots of kids shouting and playing cricket in the street. If someone coughs outside, you hear it as if he's in the room. Curtains thin, so very light in a morning. TV was shown in the pictures, but is hidden under the bed. The rooftop should have a stunning view of the fort, but the viewing platform is closed off due to broken steps.
There is a lot of good points about this rustic B&B, but if you want a good night sleep, I recommend staying outside of the Old town and get a tuk tuk in. We wouldn't stay there again.
The property is a renovated traditional Haveli. The bed was very comfortable and the ensuite bathroom was great. The rooftop dining gives you the opportunity to see the fort close up and be amongst the rooftops of the old city.
I liked everything. My first time in India , the family -run hotel was like a home away from home. They really looked after me as I had a short stay they made sure that I saw the main attractions as well as some unique experiences off the beaten track.
Biew, great food
We felt very welcomed right from the start. The hosts were very attentive and helped us to feel relaxed and to plan our stay to make best use of our time in Jodphur. We had a lovely cooking lesson with them too, have lots of lovely memories of our time here. The room was absolutely beautiful, the terrace was lovely, and the food really good. Definitely recommend.
