LOVE Bhakti! The vibe, the people, the cafe.
We had a really rude roommate in our female dorm. She clearly stayed there long term but was very rude, mad, moving my stuff because we didn’t follow her rules. Felt uncomfortable.

Nice surroundings and good food in lovely outdoor restaurant area.
Cabin was quite dark.
Beautiful so much yoga space stunning
The nature and vibe was super nice with enough space to work and do yoga. Also nice cafe for the breakfast.
Nothing in particular but there is room for improvement for the bathroom and kitchen facilities.
The peacefulness of it, the facilities, surrounding s.
The darkness in the room
The location is very good, close to Palolem Beach, and the setting itself has potential. I appreciated that the property does not sell plastic water bottles and instead uses a water filtration system. There are also a few dogs on the property that are clearly well cared for, which was nice to see.
The food in the restaurant was generally okay, although overpriced. The private cottages (which were fully booked during my stay) look unique and could be quite pleasant.
Unfortunately, the overall experience was very disappointing, mainly due to poor management and unprofessional behavior.
Before arrival, despite having a confirmed Booking.com reservation, I was pressured to pay immediately via an external payment link. When my card did not work (I was traveling at the time), I was told the booking was “not binding” and was even indirectly accused of not having enough money on my credit card. This showed a clear lack of understanding of how Booking.com reservations work and was highly inappropriate.
At check-in, there was no real welcome – just a blunt “Do you have a booking?”. I was initially given a room that was not what I had booked at all: very poor quality and far below the standard shown on Booking.com. Only after I complained and insisted, I was moved to the correct room. Even then, the dorm room was misleadingly presented online: only one bed matches the photos, while the rest are rusty metal beds. Had I not spoken up, I would have been left in unacceptable accommodation.
The property markets itself as eco-friendly, but in reality this feels like purely superficial “greenwashing”. The small path to the beach (used daily by guests) is full of trash and clearly never cleaned. When I took the initiative to organize a small clean-up with other guests, instead of saying thank you, the manager accused me of creating extra waste for the property — which was untrue, as the collected trash was disposed of elsewhere in a public area. This attitude was shocking and completely opposite to any genuine ecological mindset.
The outdoor areas around the gate are dirty and neglected. Responsibility seems to stop exactly at the property gate.
Activities are extremely overpriced: yoga classes and basic activities cost thousands of rupees, with no free daily yoga offered — something I would normally expect in an “eco village.” Massages are also overpriced compared to nearby beach resorts offering the same quality for half the price.
Good vibes
