too expensive and unpredictable staff

Nice view and room. Tea cooker and heater available (ask and insist in it)

Cons:

Very strange personal who actually locked me the 2nd day inside. I couldn't get nor make a breakfast at 8:30 am!
Also the owner obviously saved fuel and therefore the genset didn't work and there was no electricity for long time.
For both I had to call several times to owner and staff.

Worst experience ever. I would think twice now before I use booking.com recommendation for my stays.
Pros:

I didn’t like anything about the property. This was the worst experience I ever had. The rooms were untidy and there were cobwebs behind the headrest which was not safe at all for kids. I would never advise or recommend this property to anyone.

Cons:

The facility, cleanliness and the staff. Very poor service, pathetic rooms and worst washrooms ever.

Pros:

The staff were very helpful. Their Manager was always available on call and catered to all our needs. We stayed in a family room and the room was very spacious. After staying in few other hotels in sikkim, we found this hotel a welcome relief.

Cons:

BF could have been better. Not sure why hotels in sikkim do not have a shower cubicles. Because of that the floor is always wet.

Old building, old Furniture, not properly insulated, closes gate at 9.30 pm, non availability of dinner facility, very poor service, poor quality bathroom accessories

expectation vs reality : unfortunately by all means it's far from being 4* property
Pros:

location & view from room / balcony - wonderful
huge room size
what more is required in "pelling" for couple of nights
staffs were all very nice

Cons:

food / dinner in general was very spicy
though good standard break fast was available
management should try improve cleanliness of rooms & dinning area
