Travellers Jungle Camp-Sauraha

Beautiful garden full of flowers, clean room to fit our family of 4 with soft comfy beds, great location on main street, lovely helpful staff, and a rhino wandering through!

The facilities leave nothing to be desired. Excellent value for money for such a beautiful room.

The family is incredibly friendly and genuinely interested in the well-being of their guests.

I recommend this camp to everyone. Communication with Saugat for organising the activities via email was perfect from the beginning. Also he immediately got me a car to travel from Kathmandu when my flight was cancelled.
During my stay Mr Gopal, who is one of the nature guides, was my host and made sure I had everything I needed (breakfast a la carte, a driver for the time of departure, etc.) Som was my guide for 2 days at Chitwan National Park. He's a fun, kind, and knowledgeable guy. In the dinning hall of the camp the staff are also very attentive.
I literally became part of the family those days 🥰
The camp itself is a beautiful and cozy place and it's on a street where there a few shops, restaurants, and cafés. Last, I'm very satisfied with the activities at the park which were the jeep safari ride and a forest walk. I could see deers, rhinos, birds, crocodiles, etc. The vegetation is also amazing. Som explained me lots of stuff about both the flora and fauna of Chitwan. I will definitely recommend the camp to my friends and relatives if I have the chance.

From the minute I arrived I was treated with kindness and warmth. Flowers greeted me by the door to my room which was a nice touch. The staff was helpful in booking my tours. The location is fabulous for walking about town. BEST PART is a rhinoceros strolled through the property at nightfall every night

Cet etablissement est exceptionnel grâce à son personnel, particulièrement qualifié et professionnel. Un grand merci à Gopal, pour tous les bons conseils et sa disponibilité. La chambre est spacieuse et propre , le jardin est magnifique. Les treks et visites sont bien organisés et restent à des tarifs très corrects. Le restaurant propose des repas de qualité, copieux et variés. Le point exceptionnel, c'est le passage régulier d’un gros rhinocéros qui traverse la guest house certains soirs ! IMPRESSIONNANT !

Der Innengarten war das Beste. Dort kann man entspannen und sich erholen. Es fehlt an nichts.

Hotel net i personal molt agradable. Aigua calenta a l'habitació que dona a un jardí molt ben cuidat.

Tenen un menú amb plats molt correctes i ben fets. A mí m'han arreglat l'entrada al parc caminant amb Gopal i Som els guies de l'hotel. Uns gran experiència també m'han acompanyat a llogar un Jeep per fer una altre excursió més interna,  hem vist rinoceronts, elefants cocodrils, cérvols, monos i molts ocells. Molt recomanable

Excellent hotel, beautiful location, and a very warm welcome. The rooms are clean and spacious. The food is good and varied. The excursions offered are very well organized.

There are wild rhinos walking on the paths of this hotel. I was just having my dinner when one just passed by, on his way to some grass field, minding his own business. Like it's completely normal :) loved it!

Das Personal war super nett und hilfsbereit

We felt very comfortable during our stay.The rom was clean,spacious and the interior was good with large bed and working AC.Tips for all the safari packages were also available and the host was very concerned about our well-being.Services like transporation,restaurant or laundry are no problem.
The safaris( full day,half day walking and 3 hours of canoeing) that we booked from the hotel were very nice and well organised.Our breakfast was served early in the morning so that we were able to enter the park early morning and could enjoy the whole day there.
Thanks to their good experience,we were able to get a good look at the animals and even saw a tiger and a lots of rhinos up close and interestingly inside the hotel itself.
All in all,highly recommended.

Location and room size

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Traveller Jungle Camp. The place is beautiful — our room was spacious, clean, and equipped with air conditioning, and the garden was simply mesmerising. The guesthouse is run by a lovely family who took care of us aux petits oignons. They helped us organise our safari, arranged our bus to Kathmandu when tickets were hard to find, and even picked us up from the bus station free of charge.

We were incredibly lucky to stay there during the Tihar festivities and were invited to celebrate with the family — not as mere guests, but as friends. It was one of the most memorable experiences of our three weeks in Nepal. If you get the chance to stay with this family, consider yourself truly blessed.

The management and staff were really helpful, polite and forthcoming. The property itself is fantastic with a lot of greenery and cool spaces. The breakfast was wonderful too.
