Great staff, very accommodating. Positive experience.
A little pricey.
Stayed 6 weeks.
Fantastic!
The building is classic, well maintained and being updated. It's beautiful, with many of the original furnishings and structural features.
Kitchen is small, but comfortable. All appliances work well, and the water is great. Hot water is hot, but I kept the pitcher in the fridge for drinking water, which tastes great.
Good restaurants close by, and a nice walk to grocery stores.
Great staff, and the bath towels are unbelievable.
Bedroom was very nice. Bed is the best, and the bedding was always nice and fresh. Apartment temperature was a bit warm, on occasion, but the fan worked great. We were very comfortable and happy there.
Only drawback was the cable TV. They have the Discovery channel, but it is often on the fritz. Found the cable itself was defective, but we usually read more than watch the tube, anyway. And there's a great library downstairs in the Great Room, where they have a computer and a printer.
The laundry room is great. It's big and bright, with newer machines, including gas driers. $1 per load, and never a problem.
We'll be back next year, and hopefully have some family along.
I really enjoyed my time in Seattle, thanks to The Baroness Hotel.
I wasn't expecting such a big room, tbh. It was a pleasant surprise. There was a separate front room, couch, tv, table, kitchen sink. I even found a coffee mug in the cabinets. There's also a bedroom, bathroom, a couple closets, and a fancy little desk like you'd find in a movie star's dressing room with the lights and everything. The area around the hotel was pretty nice. It's just far enough from downtown. There's a store and a few restaurants just around the corner. It's pretty walkable. I had a great time.
The historical building was gorgeous and the location couldn’t have been better! First Hill is a super safe and nice part of town with little traffic noise compared to downtown, and super convenient to the bud routes to get downtown and elsewhere in the metro area! The rooms were basic and very clean, beds were comfortable, and staff was so friendly and helpful!
For the price, nothing much!
The bathroom is well.
No air-condition, a bit hot at night in summer. The electricity in the room is old.
The location was perfect, walking distance from the train station and downtown and also close to useful transit lines. The historic decor was great. I wish I could live in this building.
The stove in the room was a remnant from former times and didn't work, but not a big deal. It wasn't the fault of the hotel, but there was also quite a bit of noise outside - people arguing in the street late at night.
I liked everything about it
I didn’t like we had to pay for parking, and if parking lot full find somewhere else to park. That’s just ridiculous.
Location.
Lack of air conditioning
Bed was uncomfortable
Location is very good, and the hotel is very unique in an old building. The room was larger than expected and would be great for extended stays (full kitchen, etc). We got lucky with street parking
Really no complaints. Front doors were having issues but that's not their fault.
