Garden Villa Talalla

Ruhige Lage in Strandnähe, großes Zimmer mit Minibar (!) was bei der abgeschiedenen Lage hilfreich ist. Kleiner Minimarkt um die Ecke. Schöner Pool! SPA im Haus.

This accommodation is very cool and I highly recommend it. The staff and the owner Gaby are great. The dogs Lucki and Diva became our great friends :)

Perfect location for families - their level of service in general is top! Breakfast choice is very broad (what is not always the case in Srilanka) - and the pool can rescue your day when Talalla waves are too big for your kids.

The staff are amazing, really friendly. We had a lovely room by the pool which was cleaned beautifully every day. Breakfast was a varied fruit plate and we chose an omelette each morning which was delicious.Paid extra for specialist coffee, but reasonably priced.The two dogs are friendly and caused no issues. Very close to the beach.

Gutes Frühstück, unter deutscher Leitung weiß man hier, was der Tourist gerne hat. :-)

Wirklich funktionsfähiges Moskitonetz, ordentlich groß.

Alleinreisende Damen fühlen sich hier auch sehr wohl.

Nachmittags kann man sich auch italienisch verwöhnen lassen.

Die Bushaltestelle ist vorne an der Hauptstraße , die Busse fahren häufig in beide Richtungen, so braucht man nicht die etwas überteuerten Tuktuks vor der Türe (Pick me an die Hauptstraße bestellen, klappt prima)
Das Bäckertuktuk kommt auch hier vorbei.

Deux chiens sur place qui sont devenus les meilleurs amis de notre bébé (bien qu’ils peuvent être un peu encombrants).
On recommande la méditation avec Valeska!

Gabi ist unglaublich herzlich, hilfsbereit und kümmert sich toll um einen. Man hat das Gefühl, dort nicht allein zu sein (auch als Alleinreisende). Alles ist toll ausgestattet und mit viel Liebe zum Detail arrangiert! :)

Les chambres, la piscine ainsi que le personnel sri lankais sont très appréciables et contribuent à un cadre agréable.

A calm and quiet stay, clean and spacious room. Beautiful setting and delightful pool. Short walk to the lovely bay with sandy beach. The staff and dogs were very friendly. Gaby and her team were extremely helpful

Wat een paradijs! We hebben het hier geweldig gehad, en daarom zelfs met 4 nachten verlengd. De locatie is fantastisch, dichtbij een mooi en schoon (!) strand en met verschillende eetgelegenheden op loopafstand (en ook een restaurant bij het hotel). De eigenaresse en het andere personeel waren ontzettend, vriendelijk, attent en altijd behulpzaam!
We hebben uiteindelijk twee kamers gehad omdat we langer wilden blijven dan we geboekt hadden, beiden kamers waren schoon, heel ruim, met fijne badkamer, airconditioning en een zitje buiten (terras/balkon). De kamer werd dagelijks goed schoongemaakt.
Het zwembad is fantastisch en wordt omringd door prachtige bloemen en planten.
We vonden het ontbijt lekker; curd & honing, heerlijk vers fruit, toast met boter/jam, ei en koffie & thee.
Wij vonden de omgeving heerlijk rustig en er waren voldoende faciliteiten bij het strand (paar eettenten en meerdere plekken met strandbedden met dak), maar mocht je wat meer strandtentjes willen dan moet je met de tuktuk naar een andere badplaats.

We hebben hier een hele fijne tijd gehad en raden het zeker aan! Het is nog mooier dan de foto's op booking!

Lovely large 2 bed apartment with amazing views. Kitchen and seating area.
Spa area right next door and also yoga each morning.
Lovely restaurant focusing on Italian food but also had other choices.
Nice swimming pool and a very short walk to a fantastic beach with free sun beds.
The sea can be a little rough sometimes for swimming.

Talalla war unsere letzte Station und ideal, um sich nach der Rundreise auszuruhen. Wir haben uns in dem großen, sauberen Zimmer mit Balkon sehr wohlgefühlt und den idyllischen Garten und Pool genossen. Gaby war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, das Frühstück hat uns immer gut geschmeckt.
Das Einzige, was beachtet werden sollte, ist, dass sich diese Unterkunft wohl nicht so gut eignet für Menschen, die keine Hunde mögen, da Gaby zwei Labradore hat.
Der Strand in Talalla ist sehr lang und schön und (noch?) sind dort relativ wenige Menschen unterwegs. Es gibt mehrere günstige Lokale mit sehr gutem Essen. Wir wären gerne noch länger geblieben.

Garden villa, as per the name, is set in a beautiful lush green garden with a wonderful pool and comfy sun loungers with pool towels alongside.

My room was exceptional with even the smallest details considered. The mattress and pillows were comfy, I had a large wardrobe, plug sockets near the bed, a safe, fridge and beautiful large bathroom with practical storage for everything you could need.

The room is stocked with a hairdryer, a yoga mat and an umbrella. There was a lovely private terrace where you can sit out and enjoy the sun and a wooden clothes rack to dry wet swimsuits etc.

Nothing is too much to ask of the Garden Villa team. I was volunteering for a local charity and Gaby and her team put on an early breakfast for me every day for a month to make sure I could get to work on time.

The restaurant serves wonderful food at a good price that I enjoyed on many occasions with a lovely atmosphere.

The staff are warm and friendly and will go out of their way to ensure your stay is comfortable.

I would definitely stay again if I was returning to Tallala. And of course I must mentioned Lucky and Diva the labradors who were the stars of the show and I will miss their warm welcomes when I got ‘home’.

We stayed for 9 nights and loved the whole place, talalla is super chilled and quiet with a great beach and safe swimming, I swam a1km each day. Gaby runs a super guest house with lovley big rooms, european standard bathroom, good ac and constant hot water. The on-site italian restaraunt was great and the whole place supetr friendley.
