Comfortable
Pros:

Location perfect for CRTC Lympstone. Room was cosy and well decorated and food in the bar was good. We had homemade pizza and Moroccan chicken skewers.

Cons:

Service for evening meal was slow with inattentive staff who ignored that we had finished our drinks and had empty plates. Breakfast only started at 7.00 and we had to be at an event for 8.00 so didn’t want to risk slow service again.

Decent, would stay again!
Pros:

Breakfast was spot on a hearty portion and well made, the room was a very good size and the pub restaurant good for dinner. The building is well kept.

Cons:

I could hear the pub quite clearly in the room which is a bit off putting.

Disappointing, and obviously worse than last time - pre-refurb!
Pros:

Good location, a bit noisy for road-facing rooms. Plenty of parking.

Cons:

Mattress pretty hard, not ameliorated by mattress topper. Pretty uncomfortable. Bedside table had coffee rings - had to clean it! Heating (in room, but at least controllable) way too high, especially in communal areas.
Booked for breakfast with room, but Booking.com glitch meant it didn't materialise. Quite expensive stay therefore, especially given fact that I had a Genius reduction applied. Not good.
