Would definitely go there again.
Pros:

The property was very well presented and looked very welcoming.
The room we had was spacious and immaculate.
The food was exceptional and the staff were friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble.
It was well situated for visiting different locations in Devon.

Cons:

The evening meal was a disaster.
Worrying to think chef has no idea. Vegetables overcooked or cold… kitchen staff used to complaints. They shouldn’t be. I want them to up their game.

Breakfast was very good, the bed was bit tough and the bed lining was not that clean ( some unwashed spots clearly visible)

Comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay.
Pros:

Good selection for breakfast. Delicious evening meals. Portion sizes were good.

Cons:

No olives on both nights. Even though they were on both daytime nibbles board and the evening menu.
Broken handle on window so unable to open for fresh air in the night.

Gut, aber man könnte sich verbessern.
Pros:

Die Lage war super mit einem grossen Parkplatz um die Ausflüge zu starten. Der Herr beim Frühstücken war sehr nett und zuvorkommend.

Cons:

Die Garderobe im Zimmer war sehr instabil. Da wir aus den Koffern leben, war es nicht so tragisch. Das Essen war je nach Koch gut oder mittelmässig. Mein Cesarsalat hatte am Abend kein Käse auf dem Teller und die Avocado am Morgen war hart und gekocht?! Das gleiche Frühstück war ein Tag später wieder lecker.
