Pros:

Really enjoyed staying here. A bit out of the way but the country side was beautiful. The atmosphere was typical British pub and the food was very good! Loved the view from my room.

Cons:

The room and bathroom was a bit small. It was not easy getting in and out of the bathroom.

There was a strange smell in the building and woodlice in our bathroom.
Mentioned to the manager on leaving who said he’ll pass it onto the cleaner.
Subsequently requested an invoice by email and never got a reply.

Good place to stay for a couple of nights in the area.
Pros:

Convenient for Exeter. Plenty of parking.
Comfortable bed and room.

Cons:

Just small details let it down, bedside light didn’t work, breakfast was good, but separate plate for toast would have been helpful, that sort of thing.

All Satisfactory

Cons:

Room (22) was very noisy. High temperatures meant the windows needed to be open. Window security link mounting was broken.
Also missed drawers/shelves for clothes.
