A beautiful atmosphere with a clean and welcoming room, I will definitely be back with such great value for money in a p
Pros:

The property was so warm and welcoming - even though you let yourself in! The lounge area was nicely lit, music playing, refreshments on offer. The room itself was spotless, and very cosy. The video instructions were really helpful.

Cons:

The only thing was the mini fridge was very loud. I had to turn it off so it might be easier to have the UHT milk instead of fresh - although the mini jug was very cute!

Great stay - thoroughly recommend!
Pros:

Luke and Bec were perfect hosts and couldn’t do enough for me on my stay with them. The breakfast was excellent - I can thoroughly recommend it! I was walking the Coast Path so the location was perfect and a bus stop next to the property was very useful!

Great location
Pros:

Great location and free road side parking only a short walk away was a real bonus. Room was small but perfect for what I needed.

Cons:

The little mini fridge in the room was very loud ao had to unplug it. But thats a real minor point.

Great location
Pros:

Great location. Free parking on site. Tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Comfy bed.

Cons:

Lack of surfaces at bedtime for taking off jewellery, phone, bag etc. Bathroom needs updating. Floor very uneven underfoot. Duvet cover and pillowcase a bit 'scratchy' but all bedding was very clean and smelt fresh. Tv remote was pretty well used and hard to read the symbols.
We only stayed overnight so none of this affected our stay, just observations and wouldn't stop me booking there again for an overnighter. 😊

Great value for money and great facilities.
Pros:

The place was exceptionally clean and tidy. Snacks and hot drinks available all the time. The staff were very helpful and friendly - their aim is not profit, but to ensure customers have a wonderful time and it shows. You are in a chalet rather than in the owners home and so it feels like your own house.

Cons:

Just to let potential customers know there is no cooked breakfast, but the continental breakfast provided is great.

Great location and great place to stay.
Pros:

Loved staying here. The owners were great and really went out of their way to accommodate us. We were able to bring back fish and chips and they provided plates and cutlery , glasses etc for us and even washed them up and tidied up after us.

Everything was perfect

Pros:

The room was clean, lounge was lovely to sit in and I appreciated espresso coffee.

Cons:

The room. It was clean, but the room, and especially on suite bathroom were very small and the shower cabin was leaking heavily when used. I stayed in cheaper and more budget hotels where rooms and bathrooms were significantly more comfortable than this. Everything left an impression of very budget accommodation.
I also did not like breakfast. I am not a big eater in the morning but there was hardly any choice for continental breakfast that was served. I was given a choice between budget cereal that looked like Cheerios, Weetabix, corn flex and some kind of non-GF muesli. Apart from this there was a lovely but very small fruity yogurt and I got a gluten free toast. However, with this I could only have margarine (not butter!) and jam of some sort. As I really dislike margarine, I decided not to eat it and take toast with jam. This hardly justifies the cost of £10. I was not impressed.

Lovely place for short stay.
Pros:

Great stay over considering it was the same day booking. Short walk to hotels along the beach. Large communal lounge area with afternoon tea provided. Comfy bed

Cons:

The bathroom was a little pokey and bath slippery to stand in while showering.

Good and bad. Downstairs and breakfast decent. Room was basic and the Bathroom/shower was very poor.
Pros:

The property was well positioned. Welcoming hall way and tea / coffee in the lounge. Furnishings and decor looked good downstairs! Breakfast nicely presented.

Cons:

The car park is awkward if 3 or 4 cars parking. Standard car there is not a lot of space to manoeuvre. Maybe have less spaces! Having seen the photos of Booking .com and so many positive reviews my wife and I thought it was ideal for a one night stay. How wrong we were! The room was small and basic. For a double.
Worst of all was the bathroom. Hardly room to move. The shower cubicle was approximately 2 feet square. I am not a big personnel but awkward. Then the shower itself. Waited about 10 minutes for hot water, then uncontrollable. Choice of scolding or cold. I managed to get it set at Luke warm. Weak flow of water! Hardly room to dry yourself.
Having contacted Luke via WhatsApp! I informed him that the facilities weren’t as expected and not happy with the room. He said sorry it didn’t meet our expectations and that all the rooms were of the same standard. Luke offered us a refund to find accommodation elsewhere!!
There were a couple of positive about Rooms at Babbacombe but the room etc is the main thing to us. Not happy.

We went home feeling chilled, refreshed, we had a happy well looked after dog who felt like he was at home. Definitely
Pros:

The facilities downstairs were amazing, we could use the tables for a take away, and use the bar for BYO drinks! The whole place smelt like fresh washing. Staff were sooo friendly.

Cons:

Bathroom a little small, but for what we needed, an over night stay, it for was perfect.
