Cons:

Unfortunately, our stay was not as comfortable as expected. The bed was uncomfortable and needs improvement, while the shower area was far too small, making it difficult to use comfortably. These basic amenities had a significant impact on our overall experience.

Staff was very helpful & professional, location was great with easy walk to restaurants & ferry.
Pros:

Location was great, breakfast had variety & staff was attentive. Balcony was large.

Cons:

Shower was tiny & shower doors kept opening. Keys were needed to lock the door from inside.

Nice hotel in a good location for our group
Pros:

Good location, easy walk to the ferry and plenty of spots within walking distance, Staff was extremely helpful especially in getting taxi rides which were sparse. Breakfast was very good and plenty of food. Overall a nice choice for our group, The pizza restaurant was convenient for a quick bite and closed early enough that noise was not an issue. Happy with the stay

A cozy place in the center of Varenna with a very nice restaurant.
Pros:

I enjoyed the breakfast the most. The cakes were prepared in the restaurant of the hotel rather than bought from the supermarket.

Really enjoyable stay at Varenna.
Pros:

Great location with friendly staff.
Comfortable, clean and reasonable size room. which overlooked a town square. Nice restaurant downstairs attached to the B and B.

As Varena location in Como, hotel worth a consideration but...
Pros:

Varena location: great, hotel to ferry pick up distance 10 mins and approx 12 mins walk up & down hilly road from main train station to hotel
Food: lots of good choices around hotel, hotel food itself was 3.5/5 but restaurants have v good taste with reasonable price
Bfast: pretty good spread & was FOC
Check in: 2pm (you can leave luggage and they will put in your room)
Replenished complimentary water + has kettle (+ tea & coffee sachet)

Cons:

Noise: perhaps it was Sat nite, omg music / noise was till midnite (we had to wake 6am next day)
Internet: V V bad we used our own data)
Uber: Euros30 (for 6 mins drive), FYI if you are checking out early, Uber will be v v limited, we waited 20 mins & eventually walked to train station
Staff: no warmth (no smile or small talk when checking in or welcome greetings)
Surroundings: no supermkt (there are small ones with v limited range) so stock up if you binge at nite

Pros:

Good location in Como. Breakfasr was quite good.

Cons:

Tiny room above reception. Hotel staff talked loudly until late at night, even after I went downstairs and asked them to be quiet. My room was absolutely tiny and had no view (just the back of another building).
