The food was great, amazing location, few minor things but if you’re staying for a short time frame it would be fine.
Pros:

It was a great location, amazing food- breakfast lunch and dinner. Friendly staff, we had a nice little balcony.

Cons:

The floor was sticky, we had ants in our room, it was very hot at night, wifi wasn’t the best.

Lovely place to stay!
Pros:

Really good location, within walking distance of everything. Lovely room with everything it needed. Breakfast was good, with a good variety. Would happily stay here again.

The cutest hotel with a stunning lake view room
Pros:

The perfect location in the cutest square in Varenna, Lake Como. Accessible with lifts to use for luggage, the place was so comfortable and clean and the breakfast was lovely! We opted for the lake view room with a balcony and it was the best decision, highly recommend if you’re lucky enough to find it available - book it!

Albergo Del Sole convenient access to the beauty of Lake Como in a quiet village setting.
Pros:

This hotel is located in a central square. We were able to walk to the Ferry and train station easily. Staff was friendly and attentive when needed. We were able to check in earlier than listed this is a bonus after long hours of travel.

Cons:

A bit confusing checking in with busy Restaurant activity. Staff was helpful when needed, however, sometimes not readily available at the front desk. Make sure to ask for top floor with lake view or you may be disappointed.

Pros:

The breakfast was good. The location was good.
Unfortunately we were hoping for more assistance on travel arrangements or advice on things to do, but there isn’t anyone to assist.

Cons:

It would have been nice if there was someone that could assist with things to do and help to arrange for transit to and from train station.

Nice hotel in a great location
Pros:

Service was good. We had a heating problem in our room and were immediatly upgraded to a bigger room. All in all nice rooms. TV has Neflix

Cons:

Rooms mall with little space to open suitcases. Only shelves to put clothes on were open and way too high. Pillows not good - slept on my down jacket as my pillow. Rooms were not serviced every day.

Pros:

Me gustó mucho la ubicación y la facilidad de entendimiento con el personal. La habitación era bastante grande, a pesar de tratarse de un hotel muy pequeño y con pocas habitaciones, contaba con aire acondicionado, televisión y nevera. El baño estaba recién reformado y la habitación contaba con un pequeño balcón que daba a la plaza. El personal nos dejó la llave para poder acceder de noche cuando no hubiese nadie en recepción.

Cons:

El acceso daba a la pizzeria del hotel y podrian haber especificado la entrada para tenerlo en cuenta a la hora de hacer el cheek in. A la hora de realizar el cheek in nuestra habitación aún no estaba limpia, estabn acabando de limpiarla y tuvimos que esperar. Además, nos encontramos con un poco de polvo y en el suelo que no estaba muy limpio a pesar de acabar de limpiarlo.
Ojala un poco más de variedad en el buffet de desayuno, aunque todo lo que probamos estaba muy bueno!

No soundproofing between guest rooms (you could hear intimate bathroom activity and talking). View consisted of air conditioning unit. Bed and pillows very uncomfortable. Bedroom floor was sticky. Room was very small.
