Hotel mit super Lage auf der Piazza und nur wenige Minuten vom See entfernt
Pros:

Die Lage des Hotels ist super, direkt auf der Piazza von Varenna. Runter zum See sind es lediglich ein paar Gehminuten. Das Personal war sehr lieb und hilfsbereit, morgens gab es ein kleines aber feines Frühstück. Die Minibar wurde immer wieder mit Wasser aufgefüllt.

Cons:

Es ist hellhörig und Nachttische wären super.

Fantastic location, convenient with restaurant and very comfortable, clean and great coffee
Pros:

Whilst we had small room which we knew beforehand, it was very clean and comfortable- loved it. So central and best coffee at breakfast and didn’t need to give our order the second day. Breakfast was fresh and all we needed.

We would happily stay here again!
Pros:

An absolutely wonderful hotel, in a perfect location in the piazza in front of the church. Ask for a room facing the piazza. We had our own balcony and loved the view of the mountains. The restaurant was excellent. A nearby laundromat an added bonus. Most importantly, the staff were without exception amazing!

Pros:

Excelente ubicación para recorrer Varenna y el Lago di Como. El alojamiento está en pleno casco histórico, sobre una pizzería en la plaza principal, un punto ideal desde donde comienzan prácticamente todos los recorridos por el pueblo.
Se encuentra a unos 800 metros del embarcadero desde donde salen los barcos hacia Bellagio, Menaggio y otros destinos del lago, por lo que resulta muy cómodo para moverse sin necesidad de utilizar el auto.
El edificio cuenta con ascensor. Nuestra habitación era algo pequeña, pero estaba bien aprovechada, con una cama cómoda de 1,60 m. Al estar en el último piso, el baño tenía algunas zonas con techo inclinado, algo a tener en cuenta para las personas más altas. Como punto a favor, disponía de una pequeña salida al exterior con dos sillitas, perfecta para tomar un café o relajarse un rato después de recorrer la zona.
En general, una muy buena opción para quienes priorizan la ubicación y quieren disfrutar de Varenna caminando.

Cons:

Como único detalle a tener en cuenta, el acceso al alojamiento se realiza a través del restaurante ubicado en la planta baja. Dependiendo del horario de llegada, puede ser necesario atravesar la zona donde se encuentran los comensales, algo que puede resultar un poco incómodo si se llega con equipaje o en momentos de mucha afluencia de gente.

Heart of Varenna
Pros:

Perfect location, with a cozy single room. Above a lovely restaurant with super tasty pizza! The staff were lovely and explained everything! Tasty breakfast with the best chocolate muffins. Would definitely stay again!

Cons:

Loud before 11pm, but if you’re an early sleeper, just use ear plugs.

Pros:

The location was perfect, room was comfortable and the staff were very helpful. Breakfast was amazing and the gentleman in charge of breakfast remembered our drinks and got them for us each day.
The onsite restaurant was very good and so nice after a long day.
We especially loved the balcony with chairs over the piazza. I think we had the best room overlooking the piazza activity but giving some space from the crowd.
There was a laundry facility nearby which was very convenient.
