Fabulous place, people and food delicious! Highly recommend
Pros:

Perfect place to spend a few days, amazing location, great team in front of house and back, all the food delicious, including ridiculously amazing breakfasts. I was travelling alone and had the greatest time.

Cons:

Everything was amazing- the location was so perfect!

This hotel is ideally located in the centre of Varenna. All the attractions are within a few minutes walk.
Pros:

Excellent location.

Member of staff was very friendly at breakfast.

Cons:

The room was very basic - more basic than other 3 star hotels we stayed in during our trip.

The member of staff was efficient when we checked in but seemed busy and was not overly friendly.

Charming building and helpful hosts.
Pros:

Small Historic hotel in city center. Charming building and centrally located. Good breakfast with made to order eggs and a good selection of pastries and fruit.

Cons:

The only thing you should be aware of is that, like all historic walled cities, all the living space is one floor up. So you have to go up and down one level of stairs as you enter or leave the hotel. Overall, a small discomfort given its central location.

Hotel is in a great location with well equipped rooms, good facilities and an excellent breakfast selection. Definitely
Pros:

Perfectly located with 24hr access and a lift. The room was well equipped with a wonderful hot shower, perfect after a swim in the lake.

Cons:

Our room had signs of damp in one corner of the room that could do with being sorted out. The restaurant only permitted drinks with food which as a hotel guest was rather frustrating. The cafe next door did very well out of our group of 18 people all staying around the square

Pros:

Breakfast was wonderful, room met our needs, location was convenient. Staff was welcoming, friendly and accommodating. Appreciated the ability to leave our luggage when we arrived earlier than planned due to a train strike.

Cons:

A bit noisy at times given location above a restaurant and on the main square, floors had a sticky residue from a product used on them (explained up front with an apologetic note, but still a little unpleasant).

חדר שלי היה בקומה ראשונה. מתחת למדרגות היה דלפק קבלה וכניסה למסעדה של המקום. בערב, צוות מאוד הרעיש, צחקו וצעקו עד שעות המאוחרות. היה בלתי נסבל.
אין חניה במלון. חונים בחנין המרכזי של העיר ושם חניה שעתית ומאוד יקר.

Hotel mit super Lage auf der Piazza und nur wenige Minuten vom See entfernt
Pros:

Die Lage des Hotels ist super, direkt auf der Piazza von Varenna. Runter zum See sind es lediglich ein paar Gehminuten. Das Personal war sehr lieb und hilfsbereit, morgens gab es ein kleines aber feines Frühstück. Die Minibar wurde immer wieder mit Wasser aufgefüllt.

Cons:

Es ist hellhörig und Nachttische wären super.
