Just go for food, don't stay over
Pros:

Breakfast was amazing! All staff were friendly and accommodating

Cons:

The room was very expensive for what we received. It was small. Not spotlessly clean and quite tired. The curtain wouldn't fully shut, the doors out to the garden were old, mouldy and dirty.
We chose not to complain as it was our one only childfree night away so didnt want to waste time. Would not recommend to stay there given the high price tag.

Half hour from Bakewell if you want to stay parked up at the hotel for a lovely stroll 🥰

Pros:

Very clean, everything a very high quality. Breakfast very good. All the staff were very helpful and friendly

Cons:

A little disappointed with the evening meal, very tasty but only 4 choices for each course and quite expensive at £65 for two courses

Fantastic Peak District getaway

Cons:

I would have liked the option not to have had a cooked breakfast. Cooked breakfast was the only option and I would have preferred to have cereal, but was told that this would be an additional cost. Please put granola, fruit and / or porridge on your menue.

Pros:

In a beautiful setting, the rooms were of an excellent standard and very comfortable. The staff could not have bern more welcoming, helpful and friehdly.

Cons:

The bar area was not really in keeping with the rest of the building and the car park area is very dirty in rainy weather.

The location, the staff ,the decor and the wonderful breakfast.

Cons:

I was disturbed by traffic noise unfortunately, but I am a light sleeper ,and I appreciate that is out of anyone's control
