Fantastisch
Pros:

Karakteristiek hotel onder het toeziend oog van het kasteel, prachtig. Personeel super vriendelijk. Heerlijk eten. Mooie kamers. Ontbijt is a la cart en is fantastisch. Gratis parkeren is top. De strandwandeling bij het nabijgelegen kasteel is outstanding!!!!!

Cons:

Helemaal niets!

Lovely stay spoiled by jobsworth receptionist
Pros:

Lovely stay. Room was a good size & nice and clean. Breakfast was excellent in terms of quality and service.

Cons:

Car park was a little walk from the hotel; might be a problem for less able guests.

Really arrogant receptionist wouldn't check us in at 5 to 3. She insisted that I get our luggage from the car first, then still refused to check me in when I returned at 2 minutes to 3, saying that the room was not quite ready. I appreciate that there are set times, but this was really silly and there was no need for it. There were several others waiting as well as me but she made us wait just for the sake of it. If it wasn't for her I would have rated the hotel 5 out of 5. Her attitude has really put me off and when I return to Bamburgh I will stay elsewhere.

It’s was ok but overpriced.
Pros:

Nice location near castle. Good parking.

Cons:

The room was showing signs of wear and the hotel is a bit noisy. Very poor WiFi. The breakfast was very limited in choice. The seats in breakfast area were very dirty.

Great staff, amazing place but disappointing room
Pros:

Such a beautiful place to stay, the staff are so helpful and friendly

Cons:

Room 24 had restricted head height around the bottom of the bed, we were not told prior to staying. I don’t want fancy but I would like to get from the bed to the bathroom without hitting my head or grazing my legs on the tea and coffee cabinet
