Great location …… poor breakfast

Fantastic location to the castle

Cons:

Breakfast was a joke. Got there at 7.45 and was told they do not take any orders until 8. Only one other table was occupied at that time. So we sat down and got some coffee. At 8.05 only one person was taking orders but went to other tables first. Rest of staff were standing around chatting. When I asked if someone was going to take our order as we were in a hurry to leave, was told we were in a queue!!! Not sure how that worked as we were second in there!!! When our breakfast finally came 3 of the 4 orders were wrong….. the potatoes were hard, the bacon looked anaemic, sausages felt like they were cooked yesterday and let’s not even mention the hair!!!!….. very disappointing….. would we come to this hotel again …. The answer is no
