Superb stay
Pros:

I had the best experience staying at this hotel and felt really well looked after
Pros:

The room was very nicely presented. Spacious and decorated with a modern boutique feel. The bed was huge and very comfortable.
The staff were very professional and very friendly and approachable and really elevated the enjoyment of the stay.

Cons:

The parking was nearby and easily accessible but would benefit from a little brighter lighting.

Pros:

Our stay was brilliant. Service from staff was exceptional - nothing was too much trouble. Food was delivered hot and on hot plates too (just hate hot food served on a cold plate). Excellent breakfast menu 😋

Cons:

Having time ginup 4 flights of stairs. My bad though as I should have said lower ground floor as my partner struggles with stairs.

The situation is excellent and the public areas are clean and comfortable.

Cons:

We ate here the first night, and although we had booked and received email confirmation from the hotel there was no record of this.
They did accommodate us and some parts of the meal were good; others less so.
The room was 'tired' ... the bed was comfortable and the bathroom clean but there were many dusty areas, a dirty carpet, stained walls, chipped paintwork and two broken floorboards.

Every time we go to Bamburgh we stay at the Victoria and this will continue in the future

Pros:

The bed was ok and the bathroom clean and functional. Reception staff were informative and pleasant.

Cons:

I had a double bed in a room that was clearly for a single bed. There was little room to open my case. The wallpaper was peeling off the wall. The back of the door had drips down it as though someone had spilt a drink. It had not been cleaned. The cost was formidable. Breakfast didn't start until 8am. I'm working so it was a rush to get breakfast and be at work on time. The person in the dining room didn't know anything until waitresses appeared. The coffee was cold. The Coeliac breakfast must have been cooked and kept warm. The egg was capable of being bounced. You couldn't get your fork into the potatoes. I left most of it. Likewise the following morning when I ordered eggs benedict the egg was solid. Definitely need a better breakfast chef.

A lovely weekend away with a friend, enhanced by the positive attitude of all the staff. Thank you.
Pros:

Great hotel, ideally situated in this lovely village.
ALL of the staff were amazing, all happy to help.
The breakfasts are brilliant! Plenty of choice and lots of really good coffee!
The staff were all cheerful and what was really great, had time to talk to you or help you if needed.
This is a really lovely hotel with a cheerful ambiance, which I hope to visit again in the not too distant future.

Cons:

There were NO negatives.

Pros:

The restaurant is excellent: wide breakfast selection and very good dinner menu. We had four breakfasts and two dinners in the hotel. The dinners were better than those we had in a neighbouring establishment. The outstanding dish was the tuna.
